Great watch but poor heart rate monitor

And it is great except for the hrm. I wanted to swith feom Apple but i sadly report that the Apple watm hrm is superior. I promise i’ll get the best gen Garmin as soon as its released with what i need amd that time ill pay any price and keep it.

After a few weeks I received a discount code from garmin. Best Buy refused to price match after telling me they would as long as I went in person. Store manager was extremely rude and lied saying that I needed to call Best Buy for the price match even though I have it in writing they would they wouldn’t honor the discounted price. Customer service was no help and very rude on the phone. Overall awful experience and will not be shopping at Best Buy again.

After using for a while, I found aesthetically it didn’t always go with my clothing, so I saw the fenix 8 in soft gold. I do love this watch, for how classy it looks and its functionality.

First it started with random shutoff, more and more frequent in the past few days, then wouldn't start at all unless on charger and finally won't even start on the charger anymore. Need to go through an exchange with Garmin. Will be without a watch for several days as a result. Lots of talks about this issue on social media for this model just dying, especially after updating. Not a good look for Garmin. Good watch overall, the scuba diving feature is great. Their app UI (Garmin Connect) is by far not the best either.
