I love this watch for spins around the trails or the area lakes. It usually syncs pretty quickly with the satellite...usually. I agree with other reviewers that the watch band is pretty short. My wrists aren't that big, but that strap sure is short. It works, though. I'd give this a solid recommendation.

I was looking for a watch to start out with and get my run/walk better then having to keep on looking at my watch. This is a great watch for the starter who doesn't want to spend a lot on a Garmin at first. You can set all your run/walk times. Alert is low and has no Bluetooth, so you can only download your runs via computer, but for the price that was fine with me.

LOVE my new watch! I was looking for something entry level, since I've been running for less than a year. This watch has everything I wanted (splits, laps, total time, average pace in minutes/mile and speed) without breaking the bank. I run 3-5 days a week, about an hour each time, and can get through an entire week's training without needing a charge. Garmin Connect (the app) is fantastic and gives all the info I was used to seeing from similar apps like RunKeeper and Map My Run that I had previously used on my phone. I have two minor complaints, but nothing so bad that I'd not recommend this watch. First is that it's a little bulky on the wrist - it doesn't bother me when running, but it means I don't wear the watch when I'm not running. Second, I live in WI which means that I'm running in several layers of clothing about four months out of the year. This watch will not fit around my wrist on top of those layers. I have to expose skin between my sleeve and my glove or hide the watch under the layers where I can't see it. Still would definitely highly recommend this as an entry level running watch!

I replaced my Forerunner 305 with this model, and although I do like it, I think I may have been spoiled by my old watch. The watch works well and is a good watch, but it just doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the 305 has. The main thing I miss is having to toggle during my run in order to be able to see my pace as the display only shows time and distance or calories and pace at one time. However, that isn't such a big deal, and the watch is a good one, especially for the price.

This is a nice entry level running device. The menu system is a little confusing initially which kept me from giving 5 starts. I probably should have paid closer attention to the user guide before using it, but it shouldn't be difficult to just slap it on my wrist, hit start, and run with basic functionality. The more you use it, the easier it gets though.

I bought the watch for my wife, however I also have the same version but in black. It is simple to track mileage and pace for running and hiking. I've put over a thousand miles on mine without issue.

I have two Middle School state level runners who received these watches for Christmas, this allows them to more accurately record their mileage rather than guess. It also ensures that they are not over doing it. Very durable, and worth the investment.

Exactly what I wanted. Tracks the overall time, distance, minutes per mile AND elevation of my walks as I get ready for hiking. Needed the GPS capability but not the other features available with other models. A few glitches but due to my learning how to use it.

I got this for my son at the start of Cross Country season. It is perfect for tracking his training runs and pacing during meets. If you are a serious runner I would spend more and get a better watch, but it fits perfectly for our needs.

The only negative about this product is that is doesn't have a timer on it. I like to run and lift and it would be nice if this watch had all of the features of a normal digital watch as well as the GPS functionality. Good quality, I'm happy with the speed at which it acquires the GPS signal.

I love this watch and use it all of the time. It's great for someone who wants to track all of their basic route info from their runs and doesn't need a heart rate monitor. As long as you don't need a HRM and aren't too concnerned with super minute data ... then this watch should work great for you. I pair my watch data with RunKeeper and from that get all of the data / graphical data that I need. I can't recommend this watch enough, GPS is spot on and always connects with no issues, and it's unbelievably easy to use.

Great watch for people who want to keep track of their runs. Simple to use. The app is awesome and looks great. Recommend for anyone looking to get back into shape.

Great product for the money. Great for a beginning runner/ someone looking for the basics. The watch does everything I want it to. The only suggestion would be to offer Bluetooth capability so you didn't have to plug it in to sync. Other than that, no complaints!

I purchased an open-box Garmin that was in like-new condition. It arrived in perfect condition and much quicker than I expected with all the directions, etc. Very practical watch for running as well as uploading workout information for insurance requirements.

Brought for daughter and she never wears a watch but this she does! She loves how she can keep track of how far she has gone. She started running last year and this gives her the information she needs

This watch is perfect easy to use GPS a watch. I also use it to time myself while working out. I wear it all day. Very durable for as much as I use it. Also the best buy insurance is totally worth it!

Bought this for my wife for Mother's Day. She is one of the least savvy people you would ever meet. She took it out of the box, charged it, and hasn't asked me once how to use a feature. I was impressed at how quickly the GPS function found our position.

I returned the Nike GPS watch and bought this one instead. It is 1000x better. My Nike one rarely linked quickly if at all. This one ALWAYS links (to the GPS satellite if you dont get what I am saying) and it does so quickly. The watch is also lighter than Nikes, has a more comfortable band, stronger charger. All GPS watches have a short battery life (2-3 runs max before needing to plug in) but thats to be expected. Bottom line is get this watch not Nikes.

The watch is easy to use and does what I purchased it for which is to help my son keep track of how many miles he is running and what his pace is.
