I give it three stars because it's a nice watch, not great, not bad, pretty basic. It has good visibility while running. It is very accurate on time. Ran a half marathon and time was within seconds of bib time, don't know if that's special but was interesting none the less. If it had Bluetooth it would be the perfect watch for me. It beeps but I wish it had vibration notice.

    Garmin 15

Garmin 15 is a simplified running watch. It has all the basic features needed for a average runner. My previous Soleus watch was so complicated to use, it was like falling down the rabbit hole from Alice in Wonderland. I'm pretty savvy, but the Soleus drove me nuts-definitely not user friendly. The Garmin GPS boots up faster than the Soleus. I was always the last person in my running group for my Soleus GPS to kick in, so everyone was always waiting on me. The Garmin menu is easy, intuitive to follow.

It takes a few minutes to sync up to the satellite but other than that I love being able to track my path, distance and pace.

I'm loving my Garmin FORERUNNER 15 exercise watch (and the chest belt it is to be used with). You fix the chest strap to your chest (sold separately at BEST BUY), the watch locates your GPS position from a satellite, and off you go. The watch measures things like distance travelled, the route you took, your heartbeat rate over time, the calories you burned, the number of steps you made. All recorded with great precision. You can set the watch to keep you within a desired heartrate zone (such as your optimum fat-burning zone). When you get back home, you instantly upload the watch's data onto the GARMIN EXPRESS website, via a little USB connector, which will keep a detailed account of that run for the day. The watch will also record things like your food/caloric intake and hours you spent sleeping. The watch and chest strap together will run you about $200, a tad dear, but for their sophistication and precision, are well worth it.

This is my second gps watch, the other one is a sunnto watch, and I would rather use this one all the time. Very simple to use and does what I want without all the bells and whistles. My son and I bike ride and wanted to track are distances, this watch does all I need. Very lite and simple to use, a great watch.

I love the Garmin for it's features and size. It's best used if it is fully charged and you run under 6 hours. This was tested in mountainous areas which probably does more searching than in open spaces so the battery may go a bit longer in those circumstances.

This is a great smart watch for someone who wants to keep it simple. I bought this watch as a gift for my father who has a head injury. I wanted something that would track his steps bc he walks all the time and thinks that it’s awesome to be able to track them and at the same time, has the larger display so he can see it better. I didn’t want something with tons of features like most of the new watches with bigger displays have, bc it would have been too complicated for him. This one was exactly what I was looking for and he loves it!

I baught this before my first half marathon. I can keep track of distance covered, speed, average time just like any other fitness band . Plus due to inbuilt gps its easy to analyze your runs everytime online using garmin account. Evrn if you are not running for marathon you can still track your activities daily. only drawback is once you try to update latest software upgrade provideed by garmin, space not available error keeps popping.I need to figure out ways to fix this. But overall best device to start with.!!!@

I wanted a watch to track my running that was easy to use. Set up was pretty straight forward and navigating the options is easy once you figure out how it works. Sometimes it takes a while to connect the GPS but it has been very reliable once connected. The watch is great for battery life as a watch but needs to be charged after a long run before using GPS again.
