I needed a fitness watch to monitor my heart rate when I take my walk. Didn't own an iPhone so I got the Garmin so I could use my PC. Works great. Monitors my heart rate and miles walked.

.....and how I had ran 7 marathons before owning a watch like this is beyond me. It's a great entry level watch GPS was great, wrist heart monitor is accurate enough for me. In pictures I thought the watch looked a little too big, but it's quite stylish and I always get compliments on it. I love this watch!

Sometimes it doesn't calculate the distance correctly. I ran a 10k and it said 9.91 K. Another time I ran 5k and it said 4.5 K ... so somewhat inconsistent.

I brought watch, went home and tried it, and pluged it for 24 hours and never worked. A message comes up and says charge me.

Watch works ok - Does not Sync properly

The watch works pretty well. The Garmin connect software does not sync properly. This is a known issue Garmin says they are working on according to there website and confirmation from customer service. The connection issues are hit and miss so you might connect with no issues or you might be like me and never be able to sync to myfitnesspal or have steps sync properly. DON'T BUY unless you like to gamble. Will be returning.
