Q: Does it have a light to see the different stats for runs in the dark?
A: Yes, the Forerunner 225 does have a backlight. Thank you. *CG
Q: Can it be used as a golf gps watch also?
A: The Forerunner 225 does not include golf support. For a running watch with golf capabilities, I would recommend looking at the vívoactive HR instead. -OA
A: A majority of our sales are valid from Sunday through Saturday. We also have special shopping events on BestBuy.com that are valid anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days. Thanks!
Q: How and what does the forerunner do when doing a activity as nordic tracking or stationary biking?
A: The Forerunner 225 is primarily intended as a running device, and does not have activity profiles for other types of activities. I would recommend looking at the Forerunner 235 or the vívoactive HR instead, as these will fit your needs better. -OA
Q: Can I practice swimming with this watch...???
A: The optical heart rate sensor on the Forerunner 225 uses light to penetrate your skin and estimate your heart rate. Because this sensor requires a constant seal against your skin to accurately estimate your heart rate, using it while swimming is not advised. While it will not damage the watch, the motion may cause water or light to disrupt the sensor and provide inaccurate data or no data at all. ^DK
Q: Will this Garmin also notify you of texted and incoming calls?
A: No, the Forerunner 225 doesn’t have smart notifications. The forerunner 235 is a comparable model that has access to smart notifications such as text messages and incoming calls. ~JH
Q: U.S. version or international ?
A: yes
Q: Does this watch have a bike function/setting?
A: No, the product does not have a bike function/setting.
