I bought a new Garmin to monitor my training for an upcoming walk of the El Camino in Spain. It has all the features I was looking for and a large enough dial to read my email.

I'm a beginner and it does everything I need. I love it.

My son recently joined the track team at school so I bought this for him to track his exercise. It has many great features. Not cheap but definitely less expensive than others on the market but with more features.

Does what it's supposed to. No problems so far and battery life is good. I would recommend placing a protective cover over the glass to prevent scratches. All in all a great watch with great features.

The Watch is soo diverse and easy to navigate. It is accurate and allows exercise geeks to keep track of all calories burned and miles ran in that day. It allows people to compete and make the exercise fun and competitive !!

This watch is great for day to day workouts with excellent battery life. Highly would recommend, only thing different from its iwatch counter part is it's not touch screen. Have not tried out how water resistant it is yet.

Use the watch everyday!! One of the best purchases yet

Have used it for many runs, bike rides, and kayaking have had no problems. I get 5 - 7 days of battery depending on how often I use the GPS/GLONAS. In my opinion this is the best GPS watch available and not a bad smartwatch.

Garmin is the brand to go for serious runners and I am glad to buy this piece. It really enabled me to record my running behaviors. I would recommend it to any one who is ready to run.

My four star rating is based on the Garmin 235 as a runners watch. The GPS works connects much more quickly than my Garmin 620, and the wrist based heart rate monitor is pretty accurate compared to the heart rate strap. However, Fitbt charge hr, which I also have, the sleep tracker is abysmal. The Garmin 235 thinks I'm asleep when I'm awake and awake, when I'm actually asleep. There steps seem relatively accurate, compared to the Fitbit charge hr, but there is no measurement of stairs or other activities like elliptical machine, aerobics, and other indoor activities. There is a general "indoor activity" setting, but Fitbits is activity specific. So, I use the Fitbit charge hr as my activity tracker and the Garmin 235 as my running watch and it's a good combination.

Got this as a replacement for my 7 year old Garmin Forerunner 210. So many great features on this watch. Love the built in heart rate monitor. And so much data after each activity! should have gotten this sooner!

We had this watch for a year, hubby loves it. Easy to use(sometimes the Bluetooth connection not too stable though), and works great to track his running

This is a game changer for anyone that is serious about running, still learning things daily but am amazed at how easy it is to use. Also the most comfortable watch I have ever owned.

I am an avid runner, I run 4 to 5 days a week. I love the big display and easy to use. Downloading the Garmin's app makes it the perfect watch for running, sync with the phone is super easy

Great watch. Bought it to start my running training and it is advanced enough to have for years but easy enough to use that you will feel comfortable wearing it

Priced reasonably for a watch that carries a lot if great fitness features. My son was easily able to get started with it and was impressed by all of information.

Connects to strava. Comfortable and replaceable band. Love the features and customizable displays. Automatic sync works great with my phone. Great battery life.

Husband loves this watch for keeping track of his runs. It’s not overly technical with all the bells and whistles, but easy to use and understand.

This watch is a great partner for your running. The Garmin Forerunner 235 is a solid running watch that blends top sports metrics with excellent 24/7 daily activity tracking and a lovely design. It's disappointing that the accuracy of the built-in HR monitor isn't good enough for proper high intensity workouts but it's still capable of colouring workout data for less hardcore runners and you can still pair with an ANT+ chest strap to get really serious. Pair this data with the resting heart rate info and you have a powerful tool for tracking every aspect of your health data.

I debated this purchase for a while while researching the options. The price point and functionality ended up winning out for me. This watch is excellent in it's capability. I have no regrets with my purchase.
