Solid but buggy

The 970 truly is a great product but a bit to buggy for me. This is clear by the fact that Garmin is releasing many bug fixes which is amazing. Until then, I’ll wait till summer and see where we stand. Other than that, this is a lightweight, bright watch that is a great successor to the 965.

I was looking for a watch where I can view my heart rate zones while I trained for Hyrox. Highly recommend. Great battery Life!

However with this price range missing things are LTE , passive ecg tracking and many other advance health related features if you compare this with Samsung , Google and Apple watches. With this price it's not about only sports but personal well being tracking should be considered as priority.

I've also, surprisingly, have found that I use the flashlight all the time!

However I dont think its worth the extra $250 from the forerunner 965 besides the flashlight and added brightness.
