After 6 months it stopped working. I took care of it as instructed. I decided to spend more money and upgrade my activity watch to have a long term savings instead of having to continuously replace this monitor. It is also inaccurate unless worn just right and it can get uncomfortable.

Will not work like Polar

I brought it in to replace and Best Buy no longer sold them :(. I purchased this based on the wording saying that it would work with Iphones. It does not work like the HR7 and I returned it immediately.

I bought it as a gift and when she tried it out it would not work with her Ipad2 or her IPhone 6. I took it back and I was there on Monday but the last day to return was Saturday so I got store credit instead of my money back. I still can't figure out what I am going to buy. I will think long and hard before I shop here again.

Posted .Thank you for taking time to review the Heart Rate Montior. This Heart Rate Monitor does have a user replaceable battery. The sensor module will un-snap from the strap, and then there are four screws that can be removed in order to change the battery. Second one, the tiny screws corroded and could not be removed when the battery needed changing. That one lasted a year. Went through 2 batteries.
