It's ok

It's basically ok. It seems to work most of the time but does drop out every now and then. The strap is so so. It's quite narrow and will roll up at the sides. It also doesn't have a clip mechanism so is not all that convenient to put on. I wouldn't say it's comfortable. However, once on I'd expect most to forget that they are wearing it within a few minutes. I'd recommend this at $43 assuming the above doesn't bother you. It's by no means great however.

Gives a more accurate reading than my Fitbit for heart rate. Syncs well with Garmin products and Ant enabled products.

I link this to my Garmin Forerunner 235 with ease. It has proven to be more accurate than the wrist-based heart rate monitor on the watch. ESPECIALLY when doing activities other than running (any sort of lifting or activity that flexes the wrist renders that heart rate data inaccurate). Being a sucker for the post-workout data for my log, this chesty strap works like a charm!

Using it for few years now, it works. Have ANT+ enabled on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ and it catches the hearbeat (have to install MyWorkouts app because Garmin doesn't have app for phones). Also connected it to my Garmin Vivoactive 3 watch and simultaneously getting data on my phone and watch.

This is my 2nd Garmin heart rate monitor. The first one was purchased with my 2nd gen vivosmart with the chest HR monitor. That one retain sweat but this one does not. Even though I have upgraded to the Garmin Vivoactive HR+ that does not sync to Strava or my cycle computer. You may think this is overkill but I like to see my heart rate while cycling.

You have to invest in the same brand to monitor your performance, looking forward to see if Garmin eventually gets into the hand wrist devices.
