This GPS does exactly what you want it to do...tells you where to go. No big bells and whistles, price is good, arrival time and traffic info is accurate. Exactly what I wanted and expected.

wide screen looks good, the keyboard is qwerty style traffic info might be a bit delayed but still a fun feature to try out

I have used the GPS unit in several cities where all the streets, raods adn avenues are NW, NE, SE, SW, etc and it got me where I was going!

it was our first GPS and we loved it. It is easy to use. we are always sure to reach at venue if we have this GPS with us.

This GPS Device was very easy to set up, I had in running within minutes pointing the way on my trip. Very user friendly. I highly recommend ths, even if not purchaed on sale (Black Friday).

Garmin is so easy to use but in some areas it takes a long time to load n acces the satelites but overall a good product.

Purchased the Nuvi 225wt about 2 wks before Christmas. Was traveling to Ohio to visit family over the holidays and wanted something other than google maps. Visited relatives in three areas and typed in the addresses and went. No problems navigating and voice prompts were great. My kids had fun watching the car on the screen. The only problem I did have was when I was in an area that I was familiar with and decided to take a different route my kids flipped out because I was not following the route shown on the screen. This in my opinion was a great purchase. My wife can't wait to use it. I did read every review prior to purchase to see how other folks felt about it.

Very happy with this easy to use device. Easy to get around without getting lost. Handy device. Love that you can change the voices of the GPS. I especially love the Australian option

Although, some features are not found on this model, I found it to be of great help on a recent long trip. Some addresses were not found however. For example, it could not find Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I'm still not sure why. But, overall, a good piece of technology.

Here's an honest review regarding this unit. This unit was first sold for $219.99. Despite this, I got it for $139.99 which is a huge deal. I purchased one for my girlfriend and one for my parents as it has turn by turn speech in Korean. It's very innovative and when I purchased the unit, I was excited about the free life-time subscription to weather and traffic updates. Despite this, the traffic update wasn't so accurate as many reviewers has said. I've owned a Magellan previously and I must say, the Magellan gave a prompt sound when to take action. With this unit, it will tell you about half a mile to make a turn and when you have to make a turn it will repeat it again. Additionally, this unit isn't so accurate when driving in Manhattan. I was trying to get to the Manhattan Bridge and I knew I was about 5 minutes away but instead of telling me to turn, it tells me to go somewhere else which took me 20 minutes. Another feature that is lacking with this unit is whether you want the fast route in regards to miles or the regular route. Typically, I like to take neighborhood roads as it is quicker to get to my house but this unit makes me take all major roads which is fine for first time drivers to the area but not so good when I want the quickest way home. All in all, it's a pretty good unit. It loads quick and has more service than my prior units. I would definitely purchase this again if I had to choose again.

I'm a bit of a technophobe. Karen(we picked the australian accent). Took my family and I on a trip to an unfamiliar city and all its sites and surrounding area flawlessly. The only time we went the wrong way was when I was talking and didnt pay close enough attention to her, but she was very forgiving and quickly rerouted us to correct my mistakes. The search feature for local food, shopping etc was also very rewarding, the only time that didnt work was when she took us to somplace that had gone out of business, but she still got the location right. Very affordable, easy to use. this was a wonderful purchase for me and my family.

I bought this GPS to replace a TomTom 910, which I had nothing but problems with. I took a trip to D.C. this past weekend and the 255WT worked great, especially on the Beltway with the free realtime traffic updates. There is not enough cities for the realtime traffic. For the price it is a nice GPS unit, but there are not many menu options to choose from to customize screen.

Great bang for the buck. Best Buy had a wonderful sale promotion allowing us to get this better GPS/Navigation unit with live traffic updates for price that normally does not have that wonderful feature. Instead of making U-turns going past my exits, or calling the office for directions on the fly, this does all the work and makes me look good. I also like the feature that plots my estimated arrival time and updates with any progress or delays, helpful so I can let others know when to expect my arrival.

I would highly recommend this to anyone. For the money, you could not ask for a better GPS. It is easy to use and has a fast refresh rate. I could even find satellites indoors.

Very clear to see during the day and night. Spoken diections are very clear and even have the option to change the origin of the speaker. Easiest electronic i have ever used.

One of the best things about this purchase was the price dropped a week after I purchased it. It took one very friendly short phone call and Best Buy refunded the difference. I had the money in my account before I got off the phone I think. Very nice unit. I went with the Garmin after hearing problems with other brands maps. Very happy with the product. Took me a way I didn't expect a couple of times but time was the same so cannot complain. Very clear instructions, traffic, and great price.

Four purchased to upgrade our old Nuvis and Street Pilot. Product is good however it fell short of our expectations regarding the adequacy of the map. Our cost benefit analysis of the map upgrades versus new units drove us to purchase new units. Garmin on line map updates (for a significant fee) have fallen short over the years. We had hoped that these units would have adequate maps already loaded. Garmin maps fell short of the mark on these new units.

I tried to get my BlackBerry PDA set up with voice turn-by-turn but ATT was going to charge me $10 a month. I decided a one time payment for a separate device was more practical. And that's where this unit came in--it was the low priced option but it delivers functionality that you will pay a lot more for in other units without any extra benefit. As with any navigation tool it is best used as a backup to paper maps and with an understanding if it is putting you on a bad alternate route. Having said that it delivers very clear turn by turn directions and the windshield mount actually suctions to the windshield!

Really easy to use, only problem that I saw was that it doesn't give a total trip and review of whole route

this model is a vast improvement over the one that i purchased 3 years ago. It has more features, a bigger screen, and the best part of all is the lifetime traffic alerts.
