I bought this unit for $100 on the web site and picked it up an hour later, I haven't had any issues with it, it's a pretty good unit, it does a horrible job predicting when you'll arrive but you start to learn what it really means. I use this for work and I've already put a couple thousand miles on it and I still like it. If I could change one thing it would be the ability to change from estimated time of arrival to distance to destination

I haven't used the product very much nor tried all it's options but it seems to work just fine so far.

I am very pleased with the unit, very glad I upgraded. More information should be included on the lifetime traffic feature. First, unit must be plugged in, FM receiver in cord relays traffic info to unit. Secondly, not all areas receive traffic report signal. Once you've received signal, you'll keep it till your unit turns off. However, if you're in a rural area, you may not be able to receive the FM signal. Third, the units lifetime traffic is already installed. There is nothing additional that needs to be purchased. Anything further is an upgrade to the traffic program. Very happy with the unit.

Easy purchase, set up, and use. I've re-learned how to get to places I've gone to many times. It's a must for any driver.

Easy to use and when following a route I'm impressed buy the graphics and the LADY giving directions.

After stumbling through the first time we had to enter info, we finally got to try it out. The instructions sent us North when we really needed to go South so not sure what happened. Glad we knew where we were going which I would recomment to any first-time users. Be very sure the data you enter is correct. You don't need to enter items i.e. No., So. E. etc. as the system lets you choose that after the street name is selected. Haven't tried anything out in the country yet to see just how correct it will be. I'd advise keeping a map handy so you at least have a sense of direction before you start out.

Good product, my second garmin and good results with both. Great for finding stores, restaurants etc.

So much easier to operate than my mother's Magellan. Speaks the street names to you so you can concentrate on driving and not watching the monitor. Great product!!!!

I LOVE this GPS!! I travel all over the state as a basketball official, and this gps has yet to lead me astray. It is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone,

This GPS is really great with its affordable price. It makes me happy when I need to drive. I would recommend this to those who need a good navigator while having limited budget.

Product was easy to set up and use. Able to download additional features from PC. Very satisfied.

Very nice GPS for the price. Has traffic updates, but you must use the charger cable for it work.

We have 2 of these, one I bought a year ago at $189 and the other I got this year for less than $100. It was worth it at $189 but an even better deal at the new price. Easy to use, faster than my original GPS. Tons of POI's and the LCD doesn't even seem to freeze in the extreme New England cold. Go with Garmin, best in the business.

I bought this two days and I'm loving it already. I purchased a Garmin C550 a year ago and wanted to upgrade to a newer model. I'm very impressed with this Nuvi. The traffic updates are very accurate and detour me to alternate routes. I love the 4.2" widescreen and the color screen looks more detailed. The only disappointment was it has no external volume control...you have to go into the menu to change the volume which is a hassle if you're trying to concentrate on driving!!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that travels!!! I returned my TomTom and I'm glad that I did!!!

It is very easy to use and understand. The voice is very clear. However, when I am across town and choose "Home" for destination, it takes me on a most circuitous route to get there, miles out of my way. Of course I am using it just for fun, and go the right way; but I wonder if it will do that on long trips where I don't know the area, losing me much time and costing a lot of gas! It does come in handy for garage sales, when you are going from one site to another. I bought mine on Black Friday, and then bought another one a week later for a gift. Couldn't beat Best Buy's price.

Overall this is a great GPS. I have a built in GPS in one vehicle (2009 Honda Accord) and this unit is far easier to use than the built in unit. The only complaint I have is that it still doesn't have some of the newer subdivisions on the electronic map. Some have the roads but no names. Then I was surprised to hear the pronounciation of UTSA Blvd. as Utsa. They pronounced it as an indian word or something -- it is an acronym for University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) drive and is said with the letters! I knew what it meant but it was amusing to hear it pronoucned that way.

Best Buy advertised the Garmin Nuvi 255wt in the sale paper for an excellent price on black Friday but instead of having to get up at 5am.. I was able to purchase it online on Thanksgiving Day for the exact same price. This saved me time, sleep, and money.. I was thriled. Shipping was fast, product arrived in great shape... It met my needs in every way except the product itself only came with a car charger, and to be perfectly honest, the Garmins' are such a high theft item.. there's no way i am leaving it in my car to charge! Overall my experience with Best Buy was excellent.

We bought this GPS for a Christmas trip to DC, to visit family. Hadn't been there in a few years. We needed to get around the snow storm that had hit in that area a couple of days earlier. Not a problem. When we got close to home, it was dark and the snow had made it hard to get your bearings. This unit guided us to my old neighborhood without a glitch. My wife is fron England, so she loves the Briitish accent!

I had another garmin unit before but wanted a current model and slim design. I wsh this unit and the old unit could find more of what I am looking for. It cant find the business I am looking even if I am in the parking lot of it. It has an annoying coupon that pops up when you are near a certain hotel chain. Was not expeting that. It works well if you are in a new city and you kind of know where you are going.
