Garmin is a trusted name. I enjoy that is gives the verbal street names, highway speed limits, and has a wide view. Good product. You can't go wrong.

Great Price for a small (yet powerful) GPS. Would highly recommend this to a friend.

I have a 5 yr old garmin that needs updating so for the price I figured I'd get a new one. I purchased this one in December of 2010 and it has the same maps as my old one. I'll go with a tom-tom next time.

I already have 265WT for over an year and very Happy with it. 255WT is exactly same model with out the Blue tooth. Garmin is great in GPS.

Manual is minimal. Doesn't this give choice of route type?? While it will get one there eventually adapting to the actual route one drives, it keeps wanting to direct one to it's chosen route. Perhaps I need to figure out just what all can be done with it but it isn't as good as some other gps systems friends have.

The slim design is easy to hold and conceal. The voice is pleasant and clear.

My first Garmin still works fine, but I decided to upgrade to this model because of the great price. I'm very happy with the unit.

IS ITEM IS VERY GOOD. I NEED IN MY JOB, BECAUSE I AM CIVIL ENGINEER AND I DRIVE FOR ALL COUNTRY AND MEXICO, AND IT IS VERY NECESARY.

really like it, but the fuel eco setting is not accurate for my hybrid.

Does what it needs to do for a very good price. This is a great little device. Re-routes quickly and gives turn by turn directions.

Excellent GPS, only issue is the advertisements from the live traffic

I thought it would be easier to use. I have been using Verizon Navigator when I needed it without any difficulty. I bought this Garmin for my wife to use, as it was recommended to her to be the one to get. You have a lot to type in to enter the destination address. It defaults to the state you were in last when entering city, so I kept trying to enter Danbury, CT and it kept putting me in Danby, NY until I backtrack and found a screen to change the state to CT. then Danbury. Also, the keys beep on typing, but if it enters two same characters, because you held it too long, you still only get one beep, not repetitive beeps, so you have to check each letter to make sure it entered properly. We are planning a cross country road trip- so it will get a workout soon. For now- I'll stick to my phone- I don't need a bigger screen.

Over-all this is a good GPS, but the traffic feature isn't that great.

The traffic feature which uses the MSN Direct Service is scheduled to be shut down on 1/1/2012. So that gives you less than a year for that feature.

I bought this one thinking it would be great to map out where not to go with all the traffic in the NY area but I was wrong. It tells me there is traffic when there is no traffic and that there is no traffic when there is a huge traffic jam. I'd opt for the cheaper one w/o traffic patterns.
