I have no regrets with my purchase. This is the second Garmin GPS and was purchased because it has lifetime map updates. First time I used it was in a trip to Long Island NY and it got me to my destination with no issues

This is my 4th Garmin GPS. It has worked flawlessly for over a month. I have not used it for much over-the-road travel yet but I have confidence based on my previous experience with Garmins that it will work well for me.

This is a good entry level gps for the person who just needs one occasionally. Has all of your basic stuff. If you want the Bluetooth versions they would be great for the person who does alot of traveling. This is my first one that I have owned personally but have borowed friends gps' and prefer the Garmin hands down to a Tom Tom.

i've been eyeing this gps for 2years. didn't buy it last year, a little skeptical. but my sister bought one and i was jealous. screen is large enough and the lane assist is a real help when you're in an infamiliar area.

I've always loved the reliability of Garmin GPS products and this one does not disappoint. Up to date maps, good volume, and easy of use are the best features.

This was a great update from for my old GPS. I love the big bright screen. The picture of the expressway exits is nice. The lifetime map update will be a benefit in my area with new construction.

The item was a good product and was really easy to use. Other then it does not have traffic updates, it is a good product and does what it says, connects to sat easy. Would buy again for price.

I would recommend the Garmin - n�vi 55LM 5" GPS with Lifetime Map Updates to family and friends. It is wonderful. I love it. It is totally helpful. Reroutes when you travel outside the directions or make a stop. A simple touch on the screen gets you back home from anywhere. Tells you the distance to your next turn, icon of which direction you are going to turn and the road you are going to turn on right at the top of the screen. Tells you the speed limit of the road and how fast you are going. Don't know what I did without it!

Gamin makes the best GPS devices. This one is easy to use. Plus, the software is self-explanatory; just hook it up to the computer and follow the directions. The updates are accurate.

It was nice to have a co-pilot on our recent trip. We used the Garmin the entire trip and were able to navigate around road delays in Atlanta, Ga. Don't leave home without it!

I received my first Garmin about 6 years ago, my boyfriend, who is now my husband, bought me a Garmin GPS because I was borrowing a friend's, when I had to drive from Biloxi, Ms to Buford, GA to pick up my kids, who at the time would spend the summers and holidays with their dad. I've used it to drive to IN, FL, quite a few times. I just love my Garmin GPS! My friend was traveling to GA for a vacation, and I had recommended she pick up a Garmin, do she did! My sister asked about my Garmin because her GPS, not a Garmin, was giving her problems, next thing I know she had decided to toss her old one, and went with a Garmin nuvi!

GREAT AT GIVING DIRECTION. LOST SIGNAL WHEN I TRIED TO NAVIGATE THRU PITTSBURGH FOR A WHILE THOUGH.

Simple to use. Does everything one would expect from a standard GPS unit. The free map updates for life is an awesome add-on benefit. Can't beat the quality for the price.

I've always had garmin gps. They are reliable and extremely user friendly. Lifetime map update is nice seeing as how I'm in a city that is always doing road constriction.

Got this to replace a model that was 6 years old. Super easy to update via the update application. Got me through Houston easily and helped me avoid some major traffic spots.
