It is pretty easy to use and so far has been pretty accurate. I wish they would make them easier to mount. I don't like sticking it on the windshield and it won't stick to the dash. There must be a better way.

I bought this GPS to avoid paying an outrageous price to upgrade the maps in my wife's Lexus Nav system. I've been a satisfied Garmin user for several years, and this does not disappoint. Display is large enough for good visibility while preserving mounting flexibility. As an added benefit, the GPS map remains visible on the Garmin regardless of the other function in use on the integrated Nav/Entertainment system in the car.

I love this GPS. It's easy to use and the screen is big which makes it easy to read. Updating the maps is also very easy. Highly recommended.

Yes, I know. Every smartphone has a gps, but mine never worked right. Plus, it was hard to see, and if I was out in the countryside, you just couldn't count on it. So I went back to a standard Garmin and this one is just what I needed. Accurate turn by turn voiced directions, plus a screen that's big enough for me to see without having to hold it in front of my face. Inputting a destination is a little tricky, but once you figure it out, it's not too bad. Took it on a long cross country trip with some blue-highway travel and it kept us on track the whole way without a problem. Worked great in the city, too.

This is a great GPS! The 6 inch screen is awesome, split screen showing upcoming freeways/lane changes is very helpful, warning when you reach a school is also helpful--and the GPS is also easy to use! I recently returned from a 4-week road trip and my GPS got me to many destinations without a hitch (except for one time in Oregon when I was just learning to use it and think I programmed it wrong; thankfully I had Mapquest directions as a backup!) Also, wish it had Mexico and Canada maps, but I'd seldom need them, so this GPS with only the USA suits almost all of my needs. 4.5 stars!

I have used a similar unit at work, so decided to buy my own. The only caution I would give is TRUST it. When you get it you want to download the latest map updates. (this can take a couple hours.) I've used it to verify known routes to be safe. Have driven to unknown sites in Detroit and we were very comfortable with the time estimates and routes. We've used it also to find restaurants, shopping, etc. It is great. I highly recommend the Garmin. Have seen bad reviews about other brands, but this is the ONE. Large display and pleasant voice alerts are also noteworthy features.

Larger screen, easier to read then previous Garmin. Easy to input addresses. I place my GPS on front windshield corner, this makes it Shut down randomly due to overheat when left in window. I am frequent stop and go traveler for my job, have to stop at many addresses', system shuts down due to sun shining on unit.

Love this GPS. It is easy to use and knows everything!lol. We took it on a road trip to Texas and Oklahoma. When we were hungry we just punched in a restaurant and this GPS found us the nearest one. We were needing to do our laundry and were in a strange city and state, we just punched in Laundry and this GPS found us one. It works flawlessly and is easy to use for those of us that are techno impaired.lol

Bought this for it's screen size and because my old TomTom (had to buy updates) was years outdated. Consumer Reports also rated it well and the updates are free. So far I have found the routes to be accurate and the verbal directions easy to follow. However, attractions (gas stations, restaurants, etc.) are sometimes just not correct, and verbal directions are sometimes a little late so keep an eye on changes coming up on the screen. I am still puzzling over how to do some functions but maybe I am just a little handicapped by being 74.

Good product to have when out of town and need to find an address. Used mine several times the first week and it took me exactly to the correct place. Lifetime maps that comes with it is priceless, never have to pay for upgrades again. Good size to see while driving but not too big to block my road vision. Highly recommend this product.

I reviewed all the info on gps systems and found this the best value for the money. I purchased a nuvi 2595 for my wife a couple of years ago and she loves it. So when I needed a new gps for my truck it was a know brainer. Larger screen and better voice commands with life time maps and traffic ... Great product!!

This is a great GPS for navigating with ease. The screen is larger for easier viewing and the new features help in knowing which lanes to be in for exits. It also helps notify traffic pattern changes if congested or when entering school zones. Would definitely recommend a Garmin!

Excellent gps for new driver. Large screen and has lifetime map updates. Easy to use.

screen is larger than earlier models i own making it easier to see. has fewer options on the function of the display. mounting stick has a larger disk. this makes it difficult to use with earlier mounting disks. earlier mounting staff works though for dashboard mount. this is our fourth garmin gps. a good buy considering what we paid for earlier versions

Prefer the garmin over google maps and other offers. It is accurate, easy to read, and has lifetime map updates.

I had the old Garmin navigator. Used to the Garmin interface, I searched for another Garmin navigator since the old one is out dated with maps and did not give me the correct direction when traveled to Seattle last summer. This new Garmin has bigger screen size, easy to read, guide and interface is quite similar to the old one so easy to use. Also I could use my old mount to hold this Garmin on my car dash board without buying new one.

I have used Garmin GPS's for years. I have tried others, but they leave me wanting more. This Garmin 65LM works great. I have had 6 other units over the years and this one works the best and is also the simplest to program. My wife concurs. She found it straight forward, and fast to program.
