Great for finding your way around, in or out of town. Very easy to setup and use.

The 6 inch screen is so easy to read. Lifetime updated maps is a great feature. I would recommend this GPS to all ages.

GPS works really well. Widescreen is larger than regular making it easier to see.

The way addresses must be entered is frustrating. This device uses a flawed database, and 30% of the time can't find an address. I couldn't try it out in the store because it couldn't pick up a satellite signal. If I had been able to try it first, I would not have bought it. The interface: You enter the address number, then press next to enter the street name. Be advised that the poor database may have "ave" or "PL" instead of avenue or place. It lacks the logic to compensate (like online maps or cellphones do) so entering "avenue" will be wrong and come back with address not found. Once you get used to that quirk, the next quirk is it starts searching before you enter city or state. How often do you know the street and house number but not know city or state? You can then narrow the results by specifying a city or state to search in, (after it searches the country first) but it would be much simpler to allow the user to just enter the full address. When I say 30% of the time it can't find an address, I am not counting issues with the quirky interface. Even just using partial addresses it has failed to find hotels, businesses and private homes even when they have been in the same place for over 50 years. In all cases I pulled out my cell phone, typed in the address and it found the address. I don't think the flaw is in the device, but is just typical of Garmin. Somehow they are terrible at the one thing they do. I don't understand how they let their products be so much worse than free online applications like google maps or free cell phone apps. I only bought this product because my cell phone, which worked great in my Toyota, doesn't get along with the Microsoft junk Ford uses. I have blue tooth on to take hands free phone calls, or I can turn blue tooth off and have the iPhone give verbal directions. Can't do both. This Garmin device was to replace use of my phone for navigating. I like the large screen. I like how it finds restaurants and shopping nearby. Oddly, this device for travelers doesn't find hotels nearby. If you ever buy this, keep maps and a cell phone handy. You'll need them. For those wondering, I have tried using this in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Cleveland. Great when it works. But too often is useless due to bad database and bad interface.

We like the features of this portable GPS, but most of all, we like the free lifetime map updates and the larger size.

Great GPS. Nice larger screen. It makes traveling a pleasure. This GPS automatically shows all local gasoline stations. Chimes to let you know when you are approaching a school zone. Many other wonderful features.

this gsp is bigger than my previous one, and really easy to attach. The screen change quickly with the road condition. I like it

This Garmin GPS is simple to see and use. It does not disrupt view thru the windshield. and it was good price.

Accurate directions and easy to use and great screen size

I have been using other GPS devices for years now and somehow they were confusing on certain routes and are not updated, this one is an ultimate product that solves this problem.. Garmin is ultimate.. no second thoughts to buy.

This GPS is very easy to use. The screen makes it easy to read. Its easy to charge at home and in the car.

Bought this to replace an older smaller Garmin. I love the size of the screen and the 3d map view on this one. I don't particularly like the favorite icons that are available though. The old one had different colors and what seemed like more options, maybe I haven't found how to do that on this one yet??

I used to carefully get driving directions from my iPad the night before I was to go to an unfamiliar place. My Gps saves me a lot of time and "she" has always been accurate. I named "her" "the mouth of the south". I wish I had purchased her a long time ago. If you're still struggling with maps, iPADS or phones, relax and get a gps that can talk to you.

Nice big screen, easy to update and use; downloaded a squirrel voice and it's a big hit with the kids!

Purchased as a gift for father in law. He loved it and has used it often. Nice size and good features
