This is a great product. However, I have had trouble uploading the new map updates that came with it. In fact, after over an hour on the phone with the tech center (which, by the way, were excellent and spoke English), it was decided I should return the unit for a different one. The new one is working just find but I am afraid to try to update the map for fear I will have the same problem. The problem was that after about 7 seconds of uploading, the Garmin would shut off. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product

Excellent GPS for the money. Locates quickly and names the streets. So much better than the magellan I received as a gift last year.

2nd one I've had, 1st one was stolen. I love it, I need to figure ot how to increase the volume though. Easy to use and install.

I have only used it once and I'm sure it will be very nice, however on the first test run it told me to turn right when it should have told me to go straight ahead. The name of the road changed from Polaris Blvd to Maxtown Rd. The unit told me to turn right on to Route 3. Once I became aware of the mistake and turned around the unit took me to the address I had entered.

This GPS works great, it's just what I needed. The first time I used it I went wright to the door of the person I was visiting.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! It was very easy to set up and very easy to use. He uses it everyday.

Being my first GPS, I was not sure which I should buy but this one looked like a good choice based on reviews I read and price. The screen size is good and when it does give directions, most times they are accurate. Most times starting from a location or reaching a destination it calls out the last turn opposite to what it usually is so if you are suppose to make a left it will say make a right. Once it starts displaying route, it does not tell you the first step unless you have moved for a significant distance (so you have to read out the map - which is not always possible if you are the only person in the car). POI is not that great. I dont know how this compares to any other GPS devices or their features so take it with as a review from a novice at GPS devices (but not the concept or technology).

What can I say. This unit performs flawlessly. Especially like the way it automatically reroutes you if have to take a detour.

Buyers should note that they don't have a USB connector included in the package. Luckily for me, I was able to use my Nikon camera's min-usb connector. You get one map update for free which is great. It takes about 2 mins solid to lock in the GPS signal. Overall a very good buy

Bought this product and no set up whatsoever. Plugged in and used. Got us there, found our sites, plus extras. Great buy.

Installation and the features are excellent. One things which is so great is Traffic Update and Speaking the street names

1)The unit's speaker is not clear enough at high volumes, so when you turn it up, it gets distorted. 2)It seems to always want to put me on a certain highway, instead of just giving me a direct route. 3)It seems to take awhile to acquire a satalite. Overall, a great unit, and nice to have with you. It would just be nice if those issues were addressed.

This GPS is awesome! I love the bigger size and it's never gotten me lost yet!

It was not as expensive as comparable models by other manufacturers. No traffic updates as promised even though ads have been enabled. Locations are not current. I searched for gas stations near my home and it missed the 2 gas stations 2 blocks away. The location feature was also useless when attempting to get driving directions to a movie theater.

This is our second Garmin . Our other one was good too but maps needed updating so it was a good time to get a new one, especially at the price we paid! We've only used it twice so far but we don't have any complaints. We wanted on that voiced street names, our old one didn't and when you're alone in the auto, it is very helpful. So far, so good!!!

I would recommend this GPS to everyone. Very easy to use and has a large screen - especially good for us older people.

Product arrived on time and in great shape...it worked right out of the box and works as advertised...am very pleased

I purchased this product on Black Friday as it was a deal that I could not pass up. The features and ease of use sold me on this product. The maps are easily visible and turns are quite concise. The only negative feedback I have is when driving through San Francisco in the business district and the GPS can go haywire trying to catch up with the turns, possibly due to the tall buildings. But overall a great product!!!!! I would definitely recommend this model to someone.

I love the actual GPS and have absolutely no problem with it. The only problem I have is with the accessory. My vehicle does not have a flat surface on the dash so there is no way of sticking the bottom part of the stand on there. I'm going to have to buy another stand for it because I'm having to make-up ways to set it up viewable in my car.

I've been using Garmin's for a long time (marine, aviation, etc), and several other brands also. For highway driving in the USA, you can't beat these Garmin 200 series (nuvi 255WT in this case). We have 3 of these in the family cars, maps are accurate, updates available, and the traffic management feature on the 255WT is a life saver on the I-95, D.C. beltway, etc.
