Very good product. No complains so far. I wish if I knew about the overall route before starting the journey as was the case when I was using maps (google, or hard copy).

I wanted a GPS with good maps, voice directions and traffic updates. I did not want bluetooth capability or traffic updates I needed to purchase a subscription to use. The Garmin 255 WT has the exact features I wanted. It is easy to set-up and use.

Love the "cost of trip" feature and direction of next turn, also showing current speed during going to set destination

This is a good and handy GPS I like it very much. However, it really need to update more maps even in small town here in USA. I am a little disappointed about this.

I bought this Gps for christmas for $145. It was a present for my girlfriend. She previously had a Nuvi 205 and loved it so i got this as an upgrade for her and the features in this one are more than one could want. Lifetime traffic is great.

This is my first GPS, but I found the Nuvi to be easy to use and fun to customize. The sreen is clear and bright and the voices are clear. My only complaint is that the traffic reports are not available until you are on the road in question.

Works fairly well for the cost. Keep getting the traffic warning then drive right through the area. Like my garmin but need to upgrade to the comercial truck unit

I had a great experience with Garmin Nuvi 260W until it died. The Nuvi255WT was the next upgrade. Unfortunately, it will freeze on you half the time when 1) You plug or unplug it when it's already on 2) Make it recalculate more than 3 times The freezing is very inconvenient, especially if you're trying to be a safe driver and not operate the GPS while driving. I have returned the same model twice, thinking it was just an outlying glitch. Unfortunately, they all had the same problem.

I think it is a wonderful product. I like the feature of marking the route you drive so if you need to retrace your route you can without the use of paper maps.

So far no problems but it's new so we will see...very clear & accurate directions w/ streets & turning points given well in advance then repeated just before the turn. Very clear screen & route lay out; clear sound. Seems if you change states you must fiddle around & be sure to return program to starting point state.

Overall, I think the gps system works great overall. It tells you your speed and at times it will tell you the speed limit of the road you are on. The only negative thing is it will tell you to turn when there is only a bend in the road.

Got this as a gift for my wife and she has really enjoyed it. Nice wide and clear display. Will get you where you want to go. Only qualm is that the voices can sound somewhat "tinny," but it kind of depends on which voice you select.

I can't imagine living without my Garmin. I feel like I don't need to worry about getting lost and I'm gonna get where I need to go (even if it seems like it's leading me wrong - which we all know seems to happen some times :-p).

This unit, the 255WT, was what I was looking for.. great features without the bluetooth connectivity. The routing programming is much better than my old TOM TOM. I wish it had more voice selections; the Garmins are "annoying".

The GPS unit is compact and works as well. I have yet to receive traffic alerts. I wish Garmin would provide an cover/case to make the unit portable.

I purposely made wrong turns just to see what it would do. It said "reconfiguring" and I had a new route. It even had our long cabin driveway in the map. I wish I'd ordered it before I went on my vacation because I got lost.

Not perfect -- very occasionally makes little mistakes, and once got confused about location in a very out-of-the-way place. But, good solid performance for the most part in a wide variety of locations and situations.

This unit is 110% reliable, spot on for address locations. I love it so much I purchased one for my Wife and Daughter. You can not go wrong with this product. What more can I say about it? I trust my business with it!!

I had a hand-held GPS for years, and needed a replacement one. This unit does not have all the bells and whistles, but I don't need all that. Going out to eat is fun because we are finding places we never knew existed.

I purchased the 1250T and it would not work, so after reading the reviews on the 255WT I returned the 1250T and bought the 255WT. Very happy with the 255WT. Works Great! Stay away from the new Garmins - Software problems.
