Great GPS for moving to a new city

One complaint is battery life and second is the windshield mount suction cup it comes with doesn't even stay on the windshield. Had to purchase a separate mount for it.

One thing I like is the map, where your car is located. You could find stores around your parking car. Those stores are accurate, some of them are very small. I found a Vietnamese restaurant and a salon by my GPS, they are just one door in width on the street (I walked around the area and saw them). I like it so much. For me, the lifetime update is very very important. I now still have another GPS from another brand I bought several years ago. This old one does not have a lifetime update on their web. It happened to me twice I was lead to wrong spots, where my old GPS said to turn left and the left was someone's house or nowhere to turn to.

Great unit to have

It has nice features like live traffic updates and school zone and construction zones warnings. Not really any negatives I can think of about the gps.

Huge performance in a tiny 'footprint' !

Then I have to get doctor's orders that I can never drive again. Sooooooooo, I had to return the GPS. :(( HOWEVER, I have spoken to all my friends and family and told them to buy this exact make and model number if they ever need a new one.

So far it very good and I'm very happy with it. I find it to be the fastest processor in a gps I've ever had. I have used mostly tomtom. But the last tomtom included their latest operating system which I thought was a leap backwards. What a pity for tomtom. But good for garmin and I'm glad I switched to this one.
