Purchased this GPS after reading online reviews and looking at product in store. This is an excellent choice for a beginner. Easy to use and very accurate.

I have a larger GPS for long road trips, but wanted something smaller for everyday use. This works Great easy to put out of sight when I reach my destination.

i love the garmin gps ,,i know alot of people use their phones ,,,but i like the larger screen display and the ablity to change to different locations easily

Honestly, I have had another garmin before this one and knew what features for me where a must have. Like the lifetime map updates that is a must . Also I knew what to except from the Garmin website when updating my Garmin and how to program it for our upcoming trip. I really do like the fact this has lifetime updates Garmin's really will last a long time the only reason I had to replace mine was because it was lost during my last trip. Love the trip driving optimizer feature you can plug in all your stops and the garmin arranges them into the most economical trip for you.

I am very pleased with my new Garmin GPS, the 5 inch screen is great and easy to see. This item is so easy to set up and also very simple to use.

Bought this gps for a trip to california from texas . Made the trip easier. Especially driving at night where the roads seem to dissapear amoung the mountains, we knew ahead of time where curves were. Very accurate ! It was a time saver; since we didn't spent time driving around lost in L.A . Speed limit is a big plus! Only thing is we had do google exact addresses to get to locations , but no biggie. Using the phone gps for long trips is not the same bc this way ur phone is free and charged for calls !! Buy it :) its super convinient !

Bought this for my husband who is technology challenged. He loves it! It was very simple to use and the accuracy to date has been perfect.

This GPS is slightly confusing to use at first but once you use for travel at least twice then you will understand how it works. You will definitely need a computer with access to the internet to be able to update the GPS at times. The battery does not last too long, 2 hours for me. It comes with a USB cable that you can hook up to the computer and a car plug that goes into the cigarette thing. Also comes with a GPS stand for your car. The GPS does take some time to calculate stuff for your route before traveling on any journey.

Havent used many GPS device apart from Google Maps in phone. This is a good alternative in remote places where you dont have network to search for and the wide screen only adds more value to the device. Although I noticed that in Google Maps you can download a particular area and save it as an offline map which cost you memory in phone which is an useful feature I didnt go for live traffic as it was a wasteful feature for me.

My old Garmin unit (about 3 years old) died while on a road trip. Went to the Best Buy and bought a newer model, and I like the new features on the new model. I had done some research, reading reviews, and found some things about this model that were a bit concerning, but it was still the best choice for me, and I haven't had anything but a good experience so far.

This gps is very user friendly for an old guy like me to use. lifetime updates worth the price

Bought this as a gift for my mother in law and she found it easy to set up and use and she is in her 70s. Great gps. Will buy again

This is my 3rd Garmin, one was handed down to my daughter the other 2 are still in use. I love the price and the lifetime updates.

I recreently drove to Fl. I used onstar it w as such a pain; it kept telling me that I have left the planned route , do you need directions to get back on the planned route? This kept up all the way to Fl.from NY and I never left the route. The first thing I did when I got there ; I went to Best Buy and bought a new GPS by Garmin and used it for 2000 miles going back home, without a glitch! It was a real BEST BUY!

Easy to set up and install. And the fact that you can update the system is a great feature. I will have years of use for this device.
