I have been very pleased with my Venu 4. I upgraded from a Vivo active 4. My main reasons for upgrading was a better screen, sensors and ECG capabilities.
The sensors all seem more accurate and I'm getting 10 days of practical battery life with Activities 4-5 times a week. I do not use the always on screen. Even though I am the type to check my watch screen often, I have not had any problems with the watch reacting and turning on when I move my wrist to look.
The overall responsiveness as been a big improvement over the Vivoactive 4. The OS and features provide a considerably better user experience. This is especially true during strength workouts. I can't wait to get it on the golf course.
The integration with my my Pixel 8 Pro is top notch. The only ding at all I can come up with for the Venu 4 is that the built in speaker volume is weak, which makes the taking calls feature not as useful. But since I rarely use my speakerphone on my either, I don't find this to be a problem.
It is a bit expensive for a watch in this class, but I still believe it was worth it.
If you want a solid fitness/sports watch with good smartwatch capabilities, this watch is for you, especially with an Android phone. If your priority is a smartwatch, then fitness, I would consider a watch from your phone manufacturer.

I was looking for a replacement to apple watch. The look and feel of this is better. Battery life is over 10 days. Some learning curve, but overall intuative. Flashlight is really convenient.

I'm impressed with the venu 4. I upgraded from a venu 2plus. I like the new added features. It is comfortable to sleep in and it swipes when it's suppose to not sluggish. I don't like that you can't turn off the auto brightness but I'm making do with it.

I switched from an Apple Watch Ultra and o was worried about key functions I would miss is music without having my phone with me. I use the watch mainly for running and YouTube filled the gap plus I don’t need my phone to use still. The extra benefit is the battery life I can easily clear 12 + days with it

Here’s a cleaner rewrite:
My mom’s husband loves it and wears it every day. It’s a great option for someone who doesn’t want the hassle of paying for an extra Apple subscription. It’s also especially good for active older adults, because it breaks down physiological data in a way that’s easy to understand.
A more natural review version:
He loves it and wears it every day. It’s a really good choice for someone who wants the benefits without dealing with another Apple subscription. It’s also great for active older adults because the health and physiology data are presented in a way that actually makes sense..

I like it. I think its a great watch to help me track and improve my health through exercise and adequate rest.
The silicone band is great but I want to get a breathable band because i like to wear the watch to track my sleep not just during exercise

Overall enjoying it. The auto-darkening cannot be disabled unlike the Venue 3. Hopefully this is patched. Buttons/interface changed so I'm still getting used to it.

The Garmin Venu 4 has been a great watch since the first time I put it on. It took a couple days to get use to navigating all of the things it can do. Honestly I’m sure I still haven’t opened up its full potential yet. I highly recommend this watch for anybody! Almost 12 days in between charges.
