Great watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has great battery life I charge once a week. I run everyday and it is always ready. Once you get used to the watch it is easy to navigate however, not as user friendly as apple but way better in my eyes.

One Great Fitness Tracker and Smart Watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really appreciate the Venu's accuracy in measuring my heartrate, and the precision of the built in GPS when it tracks my waling workouts. The accompanying phone app makes it easy to understand the info that the Venu gathers.

Oxygen
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd smart watch. I ordered two Fit bits thinking they were going to do what I needed them to do and that is not the case. I first want to start out by saying I love this watch! It does all the things I need it to do for the most part. My biggest and only complaint is I needed a device that could check my oxygen levels at any time. This watch will do that however it is a lot slower than what I need. At rest my oxygen increases. I need to check it frequently with activity throughout the day. The longer this watch takes to register the more my body has time to rest and regain my levels.

Great fitness tracker, ok as a smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fitness tracker, ok as a smartwatch. There are better smartwatches out there, but if fitness is your focus this is a great watch. Battery life is way better than other android compatible smartwatches.

Right Level of Tech for the Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the looks of this Garmin watch as well as the OLED screen. Good basic functions that you would expect in watch at this level. The HR monitor tracks close to my Peloton HR band so it's pretty accurate. Like the calorie tracking, the option to download various watch faces, steps, sleep quality, etc. Very pleased to have a watch that looks sharp and is light enough to wear during workouts. Also, like that I can run my music service from the watch too. Very pleased after a month of use.

More complicated than expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really impressed with the sleep monitoring accuracy, readings, the stress monitoring function and the Pulse Ox. Still, I wish it had a more user friendly UI to set up the device for my workouts. It’s also surprisingly difficult to find information on how to pair the watch with equipment that it’s supposed to be able to pair with. In the end, I believe in the quality of the product, I just didn’t expect to need to set aside so much time to set it up and learn how to use it to get the most benefit from it.

Great sport/smart watch focused on exercise/music
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this watch for about 4 months now and love it! In the past I've had FitBit Ionics (terrible - they die at 12 months and randomly freeze), and tried the Galaxy Watch & Galaxy Sport. I was hoping it had Pandora support (Spotify, Deezer, local storage supported) but few watches support Pandora outside of the Ionic. Bought a Spotify subscription. Love the mini-workouts, always-on display, accuracy, battery life (3-4 days), integration with my Galaxy S10e, no-charge training (just did a 10K), Bluetooth connection to my PowerBeats Pro's, and... wait for it... the Body Battery (that thing is crazy accurate - just don't live your life by it - God provides). Downside: I wish it had more physical buttons as some things require touching the screen (like swiping) which can be difficult during exercise.

I like my Venu
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a less expensive activity tracker from Garmin which I beat up to a point where I could not read the face, so it was time for something new. This is easy to use and the sleep tracking is better than the less expensive unit. GPS works very well, also.

Great for Runners
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch had everything I was looking for. I bought it with the intention of tracking my distance/pace/time/etc. for running and walking. It was able to do all of those functions perfectly. The battery life was excellent, especially in comparison to similar watches. I ended up returning the watch because it was too fancy for me. I really had no desire for a smartwatch, so all of the extra functions, though cool, were a bit unnecessary. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a smartwatch, as it's likely among the best.

Great for Tech Data for Fitness
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful watch and the display is vibrant. I was deciding between this and the Apple Watch. If you mainly want the technical data and capabilities of fitness/hiking/etc., the venue is a great fit in my opinion. I ultimately chose the Apple Watch for this because I wanted the additional features like receiving text messages and some features that i would also have because I have an iPhone. That being said, the Venue is great and I would highly recommend it.

Best Running M8
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing watch! I bought this watch after scouring YouTube looking for the right one. This watch has a gorgeous screen that is bright and visible in direct sunlight. It was easy to set up and you hardly notice it on your wrist while on a run. Unlike other watches, this won't day after a day of use. I was able to still get a 4-mile run while connected to my PowerBeats Pro, started at 20%, and ended it with 11%. This is a watch you definitely want to get if you are looking for a great companion on your runs. It beats running with the huge phones that companies are out with now.

Everything I wanted in one package
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OLED, vivoactive 4, great size and weight and tons of features. I've owned 2 other Garmin watches and over the years my biggest complaint was the screens. Which this model finally addressed with the new OLED which is a great improvement. Tracking seems to good, gps works as expected and workouts are simple. Works with my phone and smart scale without any issues. The only thing that needs to be improved is the custom watch face tool. The resolution is all wrong, images look poor, the text is way to small, hard to read on the screen, and a lack of custom options and layouts. Honestly if they would fix this and give us more options this is 5 star smart watch all day.

A good watch and much, much more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My latest Fitbit died way too soon, so in doing research and comparisons, I settled on replacing it with Garmin. It's a great watch. I cannot compare it to an Apple Watch, but this is what may last Fitbit should have been. It connects seamlessly with my phone, something my Fitbit refused to do after a while. If I want to set up a coaching session, I can-- without paying a subscription fee to do so. I can keep track of my calendar, keep track of water consumption, keep track of my car (there's a built-in satellite positioning-- something you'd expect from Garmin.) I'm still learning what this watch can do, but I truly appreciate that it's water resistant-- something the Fitbit really wasn't. Maybe I caused it's premature death through drowning, but I really don't want to worry about the watch when I'm out gardening or washing something. There are a slew of fitness things this watch can do and you can set it up to "coach" you through them, and it does the usually vibrate-nagging to encourage you to do more than sit around admiring the watch face you just downloaded. It provides lots of information on heart rate, respiration, stress levels, and movement on the watch face for a quick check and more info on the phone app. Battery life? I check the amount of charge left and re-charge it, so I can't say if the advertised battery life is correct. Charging seems faster than the Fitbit. Overall, the Garmin offers more for the money than the Fitbit.

Great if you are active outdoors
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave it a 3 star because it really isn't made for people that work out inside or are novice golfers and it's just to big. I wish they had it smaller with the AMOLED screen. I would not pay this much for another one. I bought this for the AMOLED screen, the built in GPS for golfing, the multiple work outs and being able to have quick responses for texting and calls , I have yet to figure out how to quick respond to calls. It either has an accept or decline but not a way to quick respond. The screen is really nice to see your stats as you are outside. I walk outside and love that I can see it without having to wait for shade and then stopping to view it. The bike work out sucks if you ride a stationary bike like you don't get distance or speed. Even if you want that you have to spend money on an accessory to put on your wheel spoke. For the price it should do that automatically, my Microsoft band did it. Like other fitness watches the elliptical tracking is not accurate at all. The golf app is nice if you are a bogey or under golfer. After you hit bogey it doesn't let you pick your club anymore and automatically go to your next hole. I did figure out though that after you put your score in for the next hole and your putts it will generate to the next hole when you get there. Overall if you are active outdoors and want to pay for the accessory, at $35.00, to track your distance and speed on your bike this is for you. Don't make the mistake I did and think the Cadence acccesory is for distance it's not. If you work out mainly indoors buy a cheaper one and save the money. Out of all the fitness watches I've had I would say this is right behind the Microsoft band but seeing they don't make them anymore I would buy another Garmin. It will be just a cheaper smaller one.
