The smartwatch market has exploded over the past few years, so figuring out which models have the features I want is not easy. I have been very happy with the price/performance/feature balance of my vivoactive 3 Music with LTE. I haven't leveraged the LTE part very much yet, but overall I am very pleased.
The learning curve to set this up is not trivial (including apps for my phone and computer, Garmin user account, linking to MapMyRun, adding other watch faces, etc.), so don't expect to pull this out of the box and immediately start using all of the features. But now that mine is configured, I have been very happy.
My only minor gripe is that when I start an activity (e.g. Run, Walk), it can take a while to acquire the GPS signal (up to a minute). But once it gets the signal, it is fine after that.

I am a Verizon prepaid customer and I'm very happy with it. I bought this thinking that I could buy the $5 a month plan and leave my phone at home when I run or go to the gym, while still getting texts from my existing prepaid number. Seems this is not possible, at least after hours on the phone with Verizon and even going into a Verizon store. I was told I would have to switch to a postpaid account, which btw is much more expensive.
I wish Garmin and Verizon would make this clear on their website, but even after providing feedback, I haven't seen any clarification.
I returned mine
