    Excellent watch for the price

I mainly needed a watch to track my runs. After reading the reviews I settled on this watch. What I came to realize is how much more this watch does for almost half the price as other ones. Being able to track many different activities and the heart rate function is very nice. The battery seems to last a long time and with the Bluetooth function, you can use it as a smart watch to read text messages and listen to music with its built in memory. Overall, a great product and well worth the investment.

I picked this particular fitness tracker due to it having the ability to track SUP activity. It provides GPS technology along with HR monitor and movements trackers. I can use the app and see where I've been, time, distance and vitals along the way. I love the ability to monitor the speed. Keeps me challenging myself. There many activities that this particular tracker can monitor.

The Vivoactive HR smartwatch is perfect for me. It's a little bulky but with all the features well worth it. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to track other activities besides just walking.

We got this on Black Friday and the price was unbeatable. Overall the watch is great - it steps and calories burned and heart rate, alerts for emails and messages. The only negative is the shape - it is very bulky (looks like Nike Fitbits but bigger). I prefer a slimmer design and so does my husband but overall he's happy with it, esp for the price we got it for!

My first activity tracker was great, until it stopped working one day. With water resistance up to 50m, I never had to take it off, unless I wanted to. Features many different sports, including SUP, though most you have to track manually instead of it detecting. GPS was usually accurate, but sometimes could take a while to get a good connection. Garmin Connect app is great, although if I would shut off Bluetooth for a while, I'd have to completely delete the watch from the app. After purchasing the VivoActive 3, I learned it wasn't a problem with the app as much as the HR. Battery life was excellent, lasting 5-7 days with Bluetooth off, though I'd only use GPS about twice a week. The only thing Garmin watches don't seem to do well is monitor sleep. If that's your main priority, look elsewhere. I recommend the VivoActive HR, but I wouldn't pay more than $100 for this, as there are many watches available that are much better in 2019.

Too bad I didn’t have this back in my marathon days. Now it’s just a fun toy. I should mention that its operation is quite intuitive. This was a concern before purchase, but turned out to be a non issue.

    Great Swimming Watch

I'm in the swimming pool almost everyday, and my Garmin is holding up great since early November. I love that it has that I can select 25 yard and 25 meter pools which I work out in both size pools. Sometimes when the watch face is wet while in the pool, it's hard to get the touch screen to take a command (to save my workout, view details of my workout) or swipe to another screen.

I wanted to replace my Nike GPS Smart watch. I liked the looks of the Garmin - Vivoactive HR and the fact that it is "GPS" smart watch. Now that I have it, I am still getting acquainted with it. I have downloaded the manual, but there is a lot to learn. After the latest update, it sometimes hangs especially when displaying a scheduled Calendar event tied to my Samsung Note 4. Heart rate response is a little slow when I compared it to the doctor's equipment. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This watch is so easy to work with. I would buy another one if I ever broke it. So many widgets to choose from. I also like how easy it is to connect with my apple phone. I am a avid mountain bike rider an use a Garmin Edge 1000 for my cycling needs. I also wear this and they seem to be accurate. I like the feature of skipping songs I don't want to hear on my iPhone while cycling. I also have a friend I spoke to who bought this watch. she uses it for swimming and loves it. Thanks Garmin!

Great quality product does everything it's advertised to do, heart rate monitor is excellent, best one I've seen so far on a watch. Display is horrible in low light situations, looks like a computer monitor from the 80s, this alone motivated me to exchange it for a different device. Wanted to keep it for the waterproof design and GPS alone but just couldn't get over the display.

This has been a very good activity tracker. Not sure how accurate the heart rate functionality is, but it seems fairly accurate on counting steps. I really like the way it syncs with my phone so I can see my messages without having to get off my bike and pull out my phone from my camelback. The reminders to move and rewards for meeting/exceeding goals has been really motivating.

I use the watch primarily for walking and hiking. It's accurate and easy to use The auto-pause feature avoids remembering to start/stop the device. The battery lasts 5-6 days. It charges in 1-2 hours. The heart rate monitor seems very reliable. Negatives: Large screen, so best worn on medium to large wrist. Monitoring on stationary bike or ski machine requires additional leg sensor.

Works great, and is easy to use. Love that you can choose from many watch faces and lots of great apps to add as well. You can set the strength of the alert buzzes which is very useful. What I don't like is that I can be up moving around, and it will buzz me that it's time for me to move - I'm already moving! But, I just walk some to clear the buzz, and get in extra walking.

I switched from a FitBit to this Garmin vivoactive HR and I LOVE it. It is one of few trackers that are actually waterproof and I am thrilled to use it. I have started tracking my swims and it couldn't be a more seamless and perfect addition to my triathlon training. Thanks, Garmin!!

This device replaced my fitbit blaze and it appears to be a bit more stingy on the number of steps it counts. Other than that all of the features are really cool. I love the easy way you can customize many parts of how you interact with the device and I love the extreme accuracy of the tracking. I have matched up the tracking of my hikes with my typos and it is spot on.
