They made great improvements over the last version. The HR and the ladder is great. I noticed the connection between the watch and the phone is stronger.

I have bought smartwatch first time on the black Friday sale .i am giving review after using for 3 months . The product is very useful and easily synchronizes with my iphone X. I didn't have any connectivity issue. Its deep sleep analysis and step count are correct. The battery back is very good . it last for a week. So charging is not a problem. Design of was is perfect.

Purchased this watch three weeks ago. Enjoy keeping track of daily productive activity. This watch definitely promotes and fosters activity and has a lot to offer the athletic individual. My only wish would be for a brighter background lightening. Even though turned up to all still seems not as crisp.

It's very good. It does everything it states and the GPS is fantastic. The only problem I have with it is that the band irritates my wrist. Maybe I'm wearing it too tight or it's just a bad reaction. I love it though. I've let my wrist heal and I will give it another try. I will wear it a little less tight and see what happens. It's great and very, very accurate. I recommend anyone to get it.

I currently own the Forerunner 210, Forerunner 25, my wife currently uses the Forerunner 225, and we have always been pleased with the durability and ease of use that came with Garmin products. My 210 & 25 both still work well - I just keep upgrading for tech purposes. My doctor wanted me to monitor my heart rate while running so I purchased the HR - and true to form it has exceeded my expectations.

my dad hates heavy watches so this one does what he likes which is tells time but also tell us how much he walks a day which is what we want. It's easy to setup and read. my dad is always proud of how much he walks a day now that he can track it. the problem now is that my mom wants one. lol

We bought this watch to help with all-day tracking and guidance through workouts, but the Garmin website doesn't allow for this particular model to download custom workouts or training plans to it. What this meant was that we were going to have to accept creating the workouts on Garmin's website and then run through them manually on the watch during the workout. For about the same price at that time, we swapped this out for the Garmin 920XT which does a lot of the activity tracking this does, but it also is a full-fledged workout beast that allows for training plans and custom workouts to be designed on the Garmin site and downloaded. The 920XT guides you through the workouts, alerting you to interval start/endpoints, HR Zones, it has the Recovery Advisor, and many other features the Vivoactive HR doesn't. The only drawback is that the 920XT is a large watch whereas this one is smaller. I would recommend the Vivoactive HR+ only if you won't miss having the ability to create and download workouts from garminconnect.com

The Vivoactive HR is exactly what I was looking for in fitbit, but could never find. I can swim with it and track that activity, there are more activities it can track such as kyaking, and it just looks better. It's comparable in price to the fitbit charge HR but with so much more functionality.

I have owned 6 fitbits, and none lasted more than 4 months. My husband got me one of these last year, and I love it so much we bought 1 for each of our moms, and both of our daughters. This watch is GREAT! Best of all, it's waterproof! The heartrate & sleep assessment capabilities are fantastic. I just can't say enough about how happy I am with this purchase. Garmin rocks!

I was looking for an activity tracker but loved the idea of an integrated Smartwatch. This one did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend it

The gps tracking is very accurate. Other features exceed all expectations. Garmin connect on your phone gives every detail that you could think of.

This time l got the extra insurance to be safe. The last one failed after the warranty expired.

I really like the Garmen. I downloaded several watch faces and the one I like the best is the justbignumbers_wf. (See the attached picture) I also like that you can see the time really good in sunlight, it is water proof and the battery last 2 or 3 days and only gets down to 70 something percent. Best Buy also matched Amazon's price since it was in stock.

I have really liked my new garmin watch. It was a little tricky at first, but I soon learned to navigate through the watch. I like the customability. I just wish the second hand stayed longer, like 30 seconds instead of 10. Makes it hard to take vitals when you have to keep waking up the watch.

i have an old forerunner which i'm a big fan of. recently purchased this for our son who loves it. i think i'm going to buy another for myself!

I tried a 'higher end Garmin' and the comparable TomTom. The high end Garmin, although functionally worked well, I couldn't see well when running or biking. The TomTom was horrible! I returned both and then got this Vivoactive. I love it. It is easy to see and use and it satisfies all my requirements. It is a little chunky on the wrist, but the useability outweighted the form factor.

After having replace 3 Fitbit products, I weighed my options at Best Buy and decided on this Garmin. I will not be going back! Love the Garmin.

Easy to set up and customize to your needs. There are many functions that I don't utilize, but I may at a later date. It's easy to sync to either your phone or pc, I use the Garmin Connect and an older version to look at data from my runs. It's easy to navigate to see trends and results. Going without a chest strap heart monitor is the main reason I upgraded to this watch.
