I hate reading long complex directions on how to use new items. This is pretty easy to figure out. I've never wore my watch all night long but wearing this at night doesn't impact my sleep and it's interesting to see how it records my sleep pattern. I'd recommend this.

I work outside in the rain and heat, and in some pretty tight spaces...so I wanted something durable. I've had absolutely no problems with it. The battery life is awesome and the step tracker is pretty accurate.

Got it for $140 and it does what I need: heartbeat and sleep monitor. Display not so bright at night but is good for outdoor activities daytime. Phone app is good with lot of features however I had a hard time to make it connected to the vivoactive hr.

This has more display features and will track more activities, such as swimming and biking, than others models. I like a variety of activities but am not extremely serious about any one of them so I didn't need the more expensive devices. Maybe one day... I like that I can link my bike speed/cadence device. Both the band and the app are easy to use.

This watch was a gift for my daughter who is a college athlete and needed the heart rate monitor feature. She liked it but it was too bulky on her wrist. However my 22 year old son took it and loves it for running and golf. Holds charge long too.

I love my VAHR! I've tried other fitness watches & I'll probably stay with the Garmin brand. Wish the watch bands were interchangeable with other colors like pink!! I do wish the brightness of the watch was better. I have my watch set as high as it will go for brightness.

This watch can pretty much do it all. A little complicated at first, but considering it does just about everything you could ever want and keeps up to 3 weeks of data at your finger tips, it is a great choice for anyone seriously into fitness or crossfit like I am.

Bought this to replace a different brand of fitness tracker. The unit seems to track as well as the previous one. Tried many times to get it to pair with my Windows phone, ending up going back to the store to let the Geek Squad try. Seems the instructions do not match up to what needs to be done. The info from the tracker syncs quickly with the phone and was easy to get connected to my MapMyFitness account. The one issues is that the step count will NOT sync with MapMyFitness. The rest of the walk info actually syncs better than the previous tracker did. Also somehow due to the way the tracker syncs with MapMyFitness it is now easier to share walk results to my Facebook page. Have already downloaded a different Watch Face from the Garmin site and it was very easy to do and install. this new watch face does change the display look for other screens.. I would like to see a better walk summary screen

Heart Rate accurate when worn about 1-2 inches from wrist. The best part is that it is waterproof and battery lasts a week if you turn GPS and sync off. Just Sync when you need to sync. I charge it every 2,3 days for like 10-15 minutes. So far great product.

It does all I want and more. Would have gone with 5 stars except it is a steep learning curve. However, I knew this going in from other reviews. I play golf with it and it is better than my old garmin S3 and the battery is very good. Still 67% power after 18 holes.

I bought this watch because my previous one died after 8 miles on a full charge during a half marathon run. This watch has great battery life. Run at least twice a week for 6-8 miles and charge it once a week. Only downside display is not bright enough indoors.
