I would rate this 4.5/5 stars if possible. The reasons for not giving this watch a perfect score are because of two things. Number one is sometimes the touch screen will not respond as it should. I might have to tap a few times to navigate. The second thing is occasionally the software will not read the activity or stat properly. For example, it might not record my sleep stats accurately missing the time frame. It will miss a lap during a bike ride or might not record every hole I play scoring my golf round. These issues do not always happen but have intermittently. With that said, I will say I really like this watch and find it very useful and motivating for me to exercise. I have had several other fitness/smart watches in the past and I find this one the best all around. I recommend it.

I bought the Vivoactive HR after I had my heart attack to keep up with my heart rate. The more I wore it the more I figured out other functions of the watch. I love it and would recommend it highly.

I like the features of the watch and by far the best at tracking my activities. However the colors on the display needs work, not as crisp but does not take away from the functionality!

It is a good starter tracker for somebody wanting to spend a moderate amount of money on. The heart rate tracker is the only problem I had. I recieved a chest strap to defeat the problem. Other than that it is great because it is waterproof.

Great item, bought it as a gift for our D1 XC runner and he loves it as an alternate to his "pro" watch.

Very easy to use, excellent HR accuracy and activity tracking, syncs well with other apps, real time duration and distance counting while swimming and most of all exceptional customer service from Garmin. The only thing on my wish list is replaceable battery so you don't have tocharge it so often...but it's fine.

My husband hasn't stopped talking to an about how awesome this activity tracker is. He wants me to get one also. Either way he only takes it off to charge and he only has to do that every couple of days and he enjoys the app that keeps track of his meals. I think he will enjoy this for a while

it is just ok, i prefer the basis peak any day, but no choice. this one is ok, gets the job done, i do not like the options, it only sync's with under armour apps. i would rather have google fit. garmin is good, but needs to drop UA. the device itself is ok, it does not auto sense which activity you are doing, you have to manually change it, but it is waterproof, keeps a decent battery life. the most frustrating part, i like military time, every day the watch defaults back to regular time, and i need to go in and manually set this, no, it reverts back every time it sync's with the phone. not a big deal, but very annoying. i want basis peak to come back.

It's a good fitness wearable. My only complaint is that it does not fit my hand right. I cannot wear it comfortably the whole day. It's kind of bulky. It would have been better if it come in different sizes and colors.

This is probably one of the best if not the best GPS watch I have ever owned. It has various watch faces, and the GPS is top notch. The activity tracker is right on with steps, sleep, heart rate, and various other apps. If this watch ever was destroyed I would be at Best Buy the next day to purchase another one.

It's awesome Smartwatch with the affordable price range. The only issue I felt when we export custom images as face watch I am not satisfied with the pixel. that's the reason I am giving 4-star rating otherwise it's 5

Love the Vivoactive. I had a fitbit surge and although it worked great on Fitbit Apps, it didn't upload all the info I needed to MapMyRun. Great watch and activity reminders. Garmin connect autorecognizes activities if I forget to set it. I like that I can change up the watch face to get the data that I want. I like this much better then my old fitbit ... The Garmin Connect up loads to everything, Nike +, strava, and MMR. Perfect for all the people I compete against. I love it. Negatives:large watch face means Abel to scratch and crack (didn't hold up to my 40lb kettelbell...oops) get the Best Buy protection plan.

I'm still getting used to it. There are a lot of downloadable apps and it has a lot of potential function. Easily readable in bright light...but the back light is not great when it is dark...and makes it hard to see.

This is my replacement tracker. I used to own a Basis Peak, which I absolutely loved. This is a pretty equivalent tracker, both in functionality and price point, however, the working part of the display is a large rigid piece, and the band is not the most comfortable. Being waterproof is a necessity for me, and I like individual sports available on it. I wish there were more options, as tennis or racquetball are not available, but swimming and cycling are. Comparing the steps to hip mounted step counter it's pretty accurate, all though there are a number of hand movements that get counted as steps, but this is a pretty similar situation to most wrist mounted trackers. The heartbeat is surprisingly accurate. Compared to the chest strap heart monitor, the Garmin was within a few bpm.
