I love that I am not tethered to a phone when I want to walk, run, ride a bike, go for a swim, hike, climb, etc! I charge my watch once a week, and it tracks everything I need. The app pairs with other apps for a comprehensive health record if you want that, too!

I upgraded from the vivosmart due to problems with floors climbed function. This is much more accurate. Could be a little more user-friendly with things like alarm function. Overall I would recommend.

Bought this for my boyfriend because he does Spartan runs. On his most recent run he was so impressed with how his Garmin worked and the gps function was great. I'd recommend getting a face protector which Best Buy did not have in store and had to get it through Amazon.

The Garmin Vivoactive HR is a great fitness watch with the built-in HR. I am very pleased with it. The battery life on it is great. I used it for IM 70.3 Boulder and worked well. Though, it doesn't have an OWS option, I used the Walk option and worked well. Highly recommend!

I’ve had this now for over a year and still love it! I’ve gone through several trackers through the years and this one is the most accurate and Garmin has the most user friendly app. I highly recommend it for accuracy and quality!

i liked this garmin fitness watch and the price was right . my only 2 complaints is the words and numbers are too small. theres no way to make it larger. the 2nd is that the screen isn't very bright.

I held off on purchasing the Vivoactive to wait for the HR model. I am very impressed. The sleep tracking probably is behind FitBit but not far behind. The GPS for running is by for the most accurate.

the garmin vivoactive hr is awesome. it tracks everything and breaks down every activity for you. the gps is incredibly accurate. also is seamlessly integrated to myfitnesspal. there are 2 things i should mention though. 1-the sleep tracker isn't as accurate when i wake up during the night or if i'm taking a nap it doesn't even have me as asleep. but i don't have a point of comparison for a tracker like that. 2-the indoor/treadmill tracking is good for speed and time but if you vary your speed during the workout it doesn't seem to be good at calculating the distance which is very weird for me if the other two variables are consistent. i could purchase the additional foot pod, but for now i'll just try and keep my runs outside.

This watch is great. I'm coming from the Fitbit hr and this watch is so much more accurate for my heart rate. Bonuses include that it's waterproof and has a golf gps.

I primarily use it to track my walks and monitor my pulse while doing so but it can be used for swimming activities, skiing activities and many other activities as well. There are many apps available such as a calendar which syncs with your google calendar.
