Great all around activity tracker. Great to run with so I don't have to carry my phone. Battery life has been better than advertised one month into use. 7 or 8 days per charge so far and I do three gps tracked runs each week.

Have had this watch for a few weeks and I'm loving it! I love the customizable screens and the clasp/band system. Much better than any Fitbit, plus this is waterproof. So you can swim or shower with it, unlike the Fitbits..

I reviewed many smartwatches before deciding on the Garmin Vivoactive HR. I did not see any reviews that experience the same issues I have. Overall, it has lived up to it claims great. However, the first day I used it, it froze on me. Then when I reset it, I lost all of my data up to that point. A couple of days later, same thing. This time the data stayed, but didn't like the hassle of having to reset it. Shouldn't have to do that in my opinion period, let alone frequently. I have owned and used it now for about 6 weeks and it continues to happen, I would think about this before buying.

Looked up a number of activity tracking devices. The Garmin vivoactive gave the most versatility for the price. I like how you can track multiple types of sports and use gps tracking. So far it's holding up and easy to use

Great working watch. Battery life is really good get about a week per charge so no worrying about running back and forth to charge it up all the time. Great tracking features. Just all around good watch

Coming from a Samsung Gear 2 Neo this watch is better in so many ways only lacking the ability to make and receive calls on the watch (speakerphone) and built in storage for music. I LOVE having an always on display and STILL get 7-8 days of battery life! It makes it feel so much more like a watch than another gadget. I've only used a very small portion of the fitness tracking so far but the GPS for running is spot on. The biggest downside are the looks, but if you can deal with the "plain jane" look of this watch I think you will be hard pressed to find anything better!

Typical Garmin quality, but there are some weird things about it that can be frustrating. My wife uses this one and most of the time it won't register her fingertip when she touches the screen. I've had to help her hit the touch screen because of this. Also, we knew the heart rate probably wouldn't be as accurate taken from the wrist, but it seems to be further off than we would have thought. Sometimes the daily average heart rate is way off as well as the low and high. But it's not all the time that this happens. Still a good product with typical Garmin features and interface.

Ok so after checking every option this one had the best reviews for non/runners, I do crossfit and this works well, however (as with all fit bands) the wrist heart rate works well 1 out of 3 workouts which is frustrating as I know I should be at 170 - 180 and the watch is saying I'm at 70 really frustrating but seems to be the case with all wrist heart rates, so I bought the chest hart rate and now the measurement is perfect every time but it "socks" to wear the strap to make it work. I'm all about checking calories during my workouts and is all about heart rate....

Aside from being a bit bulky this device is well engineered and incredibly useful. It also has impressive battery life and connectivity with my iPhone. Highly recommend and a good value even for its high price.

This little charm is amazing. Super easy to set up, charge lasts 4-6 days depending on activities and gives a massive amount of helpful information. I would highly recommend to anyone you is an outdoor enthusiast

ust the breadth of features and the confidence from Garmin to put the essence of all its huge line-up of devices into one, jack-of-all-trades sports watch makes this device a stunner. If, like us, you're a sports enthusiast who isn't obsessive over the details of just one type of activity, it's truly the watch for you. Great notifications and rich data from the HR sensor complete a top performance, and the daily activity tracking is top notch too. The only downside is the design. Yet again from Garmin, it's not a device that inspires daily wear. For many this will undermine the daily features, but if you spend your weekends and holidays running, walking, cycling, golfing and skiing, this is the only watch you need to buy.

I had a Microsoft Band previously and had issues with my arm breaking out. So far, the Vivoactive HR does everything the Band did and more! Love the 4 hour HR graph. GPS seems to work flawlessly. Couldn't be happier.

If you take the best parts of a smartwatch and a fitness tracker and combine them into one device, this is it. The one function I most appreciate is how you can use an external heart rate monitor (ANT+)!

I've ran with several trackers and none of them were as accurate as the VivoActive. The internal GPS works great and keeps me on track with speed, pace, and distance reminders. It even works in stormy weather.

Bought this for my wife for Mother's Day, she wears it every day and doesn't have to worry about taking it off. It completely water proof so she can shower and swim with it. No complaints! Great fitness watch!

I purchased this watch for my husband who is in the military. He was looking for something that tracks his activities and was more rigged. He loves it and really enjoys all the features that comes with it.
