Great in heart rate monitoring but lacks on other feature such as sleep monitoring. The auto monitoring of sleep is not good especially for people who works night shift and their sleep is varied. I wish it would have a manual sleep track as well that you can turn on before you go to sleep.

We understand the sleep tracking is not working as accurately as you had expected. You can choose to enter the sleep time by confirming the time after syncing. You will need to open the Garmin Connect Mobile app and select snapshots>sleep time> edit. We hope this help you with getting a more accurate reading of your sleep. Best regards. ~QKO Garmin

Battery life could be better but average, average sync and size. Like that you can download different formats but they are not always available. Beware and caution when using a aftermarket wall usb outlet because it will freeze your watch and keep it from charging. Overall, not a bad fitness watch to own and I'm still learning new things about it.

Since the Garmin was obtained at Christmas, I still consider it under a review period; but, my husband has enjoyed it tremendously to date. The only item that is being missed (since he use to have a Fitbit) is the sleep tracking; but, given the other features of the Garmin, he is willing to overlook the loss of sleep tracking.

If you are looking for a non flashy wearable, this product does a lot. I will note that the heart rate calculated at my doctors office self operating blood pressure and heart rate machine differed by about 10 than the watch. Not sure which onw was more accurate. Generally like the product alot. I do like the active calories burned feature.

great watch immediately after purchase. enjoyed all the features but about 6 months after buying it, the screen separated from the watch which was fixed. the heart rate monitor sometimes does not work now. might be doing heavy cardio and it reports heart rate of 40!! got it because one could swim in it. not worth the price.

I was torn between this watch and a competitors. I chose this watch because of the Garmin name. This watch works wonders. The GPS is accurate and I love using the golf feature to track my shots and distance. One downside is that the watch face scratches easily. If you purchase this watch, make sure you buy the replacement plan.

I have used other smartwatches and fitness bands, currently am using the Apple watch along side my new Garmin VivoActive HR. Great connection Android and IOS but unfortunately doesn't do well with Windows Phone 10. Otherwise looking forward to the next gen because the touch screen and quality of the screen does need a little upgrade.
