This watch is awesome - it tracks all sports, rowing, steps and even snowboarding. It keeps track of your personal best. The heart rate is very accurate -my son has just the vivoactive and he has to wear the strap around his chest to get his heartrate -he now wants the vivoactive.

I use the Vivoactive HR watch primarily for tracking my swimming. I also wear a Garmin swim watch to track the accuracy of my vivoactive watch, and it's been 95-98% accurate. Very satisfied with it.

Awesome watch, did what I thought it would, just not all there for me, the HR monitor was not so good for workouts like lifting or crossfit, I would say an external HR band would be ideal for harder workouts.

Has a lot of features, but face body is way to large. Very hard to read in low light conditions. Works well in sun, but hard to read inside. I do like being able to change bands for a more fashionable look.

Really enjoying this watch. I am an avid runner; the distance, pace, interval and heart rate functions provide real time data that helps keep me on track. I added the premium chest belt and it tracks just as well as my prior polar hrm. Also the watch looks great on your wrist.

I wasnt able to test much on this product. I ordered this and Fenix 3 HR but the look on this watch is not really attractive to me. It looks a bit cheap watch that I used to wear when I was a kid.

My father was tired of going on runs and carrying his phablet with him to log his distance. This took care of the problem and he gets use out of it every day. The screen size is a little larger than I expected.

Received my Vivoactive Hr Smartwatch and had it set up in no time. Gives me accurate HR and keeps me on track for my exercise goals. Easy to read even in dim or no light conditions. Comfortable to wear and, in my opinion, has a contemporary stylish design. Very satisfied !!!

We got this for our son for Christmas and he gave it 5 stars. His exact words are..."It's great. Fits well, good size (he has a small wrist and it isn't too big) great apps that can customize what you want to get out of it, keeps you on track for the day at staying healthy."

Bought two of these. One is working flawless, the other had trouble sync'ing and keeping HR. Swimming metrics are very limited compared to other garmin products. Great for a runner or just daily activity.

When it came time to replace this version it was no longer made. I prefer it over the replacement but if you find it - it is a solid performer and easy to see in the bright sunlight

This watch is incredible! The optical heartrate monitor is accurate when doing cardio and the exercise functions are superb. The GPS is Garmin so it is spot on! This watch does everything I could want and pairs perfectly with my IPhone 6s Plus! I would buy it again and again!

Difficult to create a workout on the computer and transfer to the watch. The time keeps changing when the watch is turned off. I went for the newest figuring most of the software bugs would be fixed.

I had an Apple Watch since launch. I noticed over the past year that I wanted something that was a bit more fitness oriented than the Apple Watch while still having smartwatch features. The Vivoactive HR to me is the perfect combination of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch.

At first I really liked this device, but as time went on it’s accuracy continued to decline. There is a route I take in my neighborhood that has me walking up a 1/4 mile hill, that is fairly steep. When I first got the device it would correctly give me a few flights of stairs for the hill. As time went on, I could walk this hill and get 0 flights. I cleaned everywhere I should to keep the barometer working but to no avail. Even talking with tech support brought no changes. It could be great but leaves al lot to be desired

I was a bit worried about getting this watch when it had first released but I am so happy that I got it. It has everything that one could ask for when it comes to a smart watch with BP monitoring. It is also very durable and my toddler has not been able to destroy it, yet.

This is a great watch. I used to have the vivoactive without the heart rate and loved that one. I was initially hesitant to get this watch but I've had it for two days and already love it more than the previous model. HR is pretty accurate and all the other apps are great.

Only complaint is the screen resolution isn't as nice as others such as the Apple Watch etc. but other than that, this watch is as tough as they say in the reviews. Definitely worth the money.

Good fitness watch. Had it for a couple years then it died. Worked great while I had it. A bit disappointed it didnt last longer, but good features and very accurate.

It fits a little tightly, but that's probably being concerned about the watch making good contact. I have used it daily since purchase and found it more practical than the Apple Watch I had prior.
