Not a bad watch. Heart monitor is fairly inconsistent. Unfortunately this was the main reason I bought the watch. Good price though and overall good features and good watch.

My son was wanting something more sophisticated than a fitbit but didn't want to get a "smartwatch." We felt the Vivoactive HR would meet his needs and purchased it for him for Christmas. It was fine. It does everything it is reported to do. However we compared it to a family member's applewatch and noticed the applewatch's speed, brightness of display, and usability was significantly better than the Vivoactive HR for just a small increase in price. He offered to pitch in the difference in price to upgrade and is happy that he did.

This is my upgrade from the Vivosmart . Good battery life, very user friendly. Only downfall is heart rate does not sync with Strava app or my cycle computer. But I love it still.

I am a firefighter so I’m kinda rough on things. I forgot to register my first one. Liked it enough to buy a second on and made sure to register it for warrantee purposes.

Love everything about the watch except the touch screen stopped working in less than a year. Luckily it was still under warranty and had no problems returning it for a new one.

Overall this is a really nice smart watch. It is a perfect fit for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle. However, the touchscreen responsiveness is not that ideal.

The look and fit is bulky but has tons of features. Very accurate and GPS is always on spot when ready to start. I use regularly for jog and cycling and is very accurate. This does not have auto defect feature which i feel is very much needed

After owning some less than satisfactory smartwatches I purchased the Garmin. I am very pleased with the purchase. It performs very well and has a lot of apps (most of them free) that can be loaded. I really like this smartwatch.

I wanted a fitness tracker, and choose this one since it did much more. the Golf part is great, I also like the fact that it sync's with my phone and provides details on my wrist.

I found the watch to be uncomfortable as it was too big for my smallish wrist, so I returned it right away. I replaced it with a different Garmin, but less than a year later, I replaced that with a Fitbit Charge 3. I much prefer the far longer battery life of the Charge 3. I wanted the Garmin for the HR tracking but in the end the thing I liked best about the subsequent Garmin and then the Charge 3 were the smart watch features and syncing to my phone.

I love this item .. I even love garmin company. I have used this item forever. I had an issue with it sent it in and they sent me a refurbished one . Ty

GARMIN design is always great and this watch is very nice, a fore-runner to their more advanced models. Gives many useful options at a fair price.

After purchasing the samsung s3, the features of this watch would not compare. There's nothing wrong with this but other's out there I would highly recommend before this.

This watch is the best fitness wearable that I've used. It's not as refined as an Apple Watch but I feel it is far more functional as a fitness device as it has a built in GPS.

I bought this after my Fitbit came apart after a year. This watch does everything I need it to do for lifting and cardio. The phone notifications are a added bonus as well. Syncs great and love that I can add apps as well. Very nice.

Have been using this device for about a month. Love the HR monitoring. The connection to the phone is limited in what you can do, but it is awesome that you can read a text while working out and not have to access your phone. Great watch.

The watch has easy to use function buttons and all the different screen options allow you to tailor it to the way you work out and track specific metrics, especially the heart rate function is great.

The watch is awesome and responsive. But the screen is very dull and lacks the colors advertised. Outside of the screen quality it is what you would expect from Garmin.

Terrific for tracking my progress, and letting me know when my goals have or have not been met. Keeps me honest with myself.

So far pretty good all sport tracking watch , not giving 5 stars because sometimes battery drains when I take out the watch and it keeps looking for the heart monitor.
