I've not had the opportunity to do a lot of testing yet - nothing outside to test the GPS. The HR monitor can be up to 20 bpm off from what my treadmill reads - not sure which is correct. Most indoor activities don't provide valuable information - no distance given for cycling or treadmill. Stairs are never accurate - up and down never match, but for me they should.

Nice activity tracker but the pins that held the band on broke so I had to get a new tracker.

i record everything with this watch: running, biking, swimming, stairs, weighted workouts. my hub records his weightlifting too. we try to burn at least 600 cals a day.

I’ve owned my Viva for almost a year and a half. There are a few things that it cant do but overall it does everything it’s supposed to to very very well.

I didnt a lot of research before oyrchasing. This tracks walking and exercise well. Was simple to connect to my phone. Very happy with the purchase so far.

I was really excited to get this item, but when I did was somewhat disappointed. The interface is a bit annoying to use, you have to dig in a lot find what mode you want to operate. The quality of graphics is also lackluster. The big downside however, was that it was incredibly bulky and difficult to sleep with.

Read a lot of reviews before purchasing and it came down to the fit bit surge and the garmin. Choose the garmin for it's bluetooth capability and customizing apps.

First thing,,band to small,,,second is it made me figure out I'm not near as active as i thought i was.

I love the steps the reminder to move and the calories burned. I would recommend this! Most of all you can swim or fall in pool with out damaging your watch!

this is a great watch, you can be a pro or a beginner working out. I love how it reminds you to move.

Purchased for wife, but returned because too bulky and masculine for my wife.

The features are very impressive on this fitness tracker. Need to be very active if this is the way you go.

This watch should put FitBit on notice. The feature set is incredible, the battery life is great, and it is water proof. The phone app with it is just okay.

Decided to upgrade her garmin watch and she loves it. Glitches out sometimes but i think ots the firmware.

I love it. Sometimes it takes several steps to start tracking, but other than that, I haven't had any issues.

Great watch, bought for my wife but we both use regularly. Used for multiple long distance runs (2 halfs. & 1 full marathon) and also 1 triathlon. Worked great.

Got this watch as a present for my son for Christmas, he loves all the different features about it.

A lot of functions, easy to use and a long battery life. Limited watch face styles and display sharpness.

Switched from Fitbit to garmin and wasn't sure if I would like the difference. So far it's very easy to use and has more features that Fitbit. Recommended

Love this watch. Unfortunately it has been sent back to Garmin due to a water intrusion issue. I went swimming in June Lake (8000 ft., in the Sierras) and the screen went black the it died. Otherwise, the functions and features are great. I am an ocean swimmer as well and use the "other" category to track my swims. Great for cycling although it could use a handlebar mount.
