Making it worthless to use Connect on my phione. Love the step count. Battery life is great with Bluetooth off. But I wanted that connection.

It does everything it promises. The only opportunity for this watch is the syncing of the weather and calendar can be non functional.

The Garmin offers everything I want in a tracking device. Lots of exercise options to track, easy to read and many options to customize.

Purchased this watch for walking and biking. Very accurate and love GPS. Highly recommend this watch.

I switched from Garmin vivo fit to Garmin Smart Watch. I like the features of answering phone calls, changing music, emails...

issues -doesn't sync easily. many times I have to power down iphone 6+ and turn back on to get to sync even though both devices show it is connected -havent been able to find how to turn off annoying alert every time I get email on my phone. text messages and phone call alerts are helpful -IDK why but it has been vibrating, tone and light on through the night. started at 2am and happening every 2-5 min. the light wakes me up and it isnt giving a message, just showing the time. alarm is not set. -doesn't hold a charge well. seems like 2-3 days. one morning I couldnt get it to turn on. looked like no charge. when I put it on charger it had 50%. dont know why it was not responding. it should always show the watch face and should have responded to me pushing buttons -not as many aps available as I though -wanted smart wake where it wakes you 20 min earlier than alarm if you are in right stage of sleep to feel rested. I was hoping there would be an ap for that. -not sure how helpful the sleep function is. it just tells time you are in bed versus time sleeping. seems to determine by movement. my old sleep monitor said the stage of sleep, time it took to fall asleep and amount of time awake and in each stage of sleep. looking forward for a new ap to add main reason I purchased -wanted water resistant and didn't want to wait for jawbone 3 -wanted a watch -liked the swimming ap -liked that I could add aps and thought that would keep it up to date and not feel like I needed the next new fitness tracker -If I like the swimming ap I may keep it.

Great for all kinds of active lifestyle activities and fun to use all day. Counting steps is easy plus all other functions are amazing

The watch is simple and the app that connects to the watch is easy to use. I am hooked on the step counter and look forward to further adding accessories for my bike.

This watch is wonderful, but the design could use improvement. The screen needs to have more protection or there should be a guard that you can by to protect the item.

Not the best out there screen is too dims and not too accurate with step tracking

Not bad but in treadmills it wasn't that accurate I ended up paying the extra for an Apple Watch because of the notifications and better integration with my iPhone.

Works good for swimming but the pool length comes in 25, 50 ect.. not my pool 27.5m.

My husband play golf , Garmin is useful for golfers. Battery life last few weeks, sleek design , look great on his hand

She said the functionality is not very intuitive. It works well for running, but have not tested the other features.

Very easy to use, great for fitness tracking, entry of downloadable apps....very accurate GPS on the golf application!

I mostly use this watch for running and I love that i can look quickly to see if the text or call is worth answering without having to pull my phone out

So happy with my purchase of the VivoActive! Does everything I need and more. Transfers to my Strava instantly... Durable, modifiable, and nice looking.

Ive had other fitness watches but this is by far the most accurate. I like the features! The only reason I gave it a 4 is because i think their should be a man/woman version. Watch is huge and a little uncomfortable at times. Other than that I love how it connects to myfitness pal!!!

I like this unit better than the Polar it replaced. The display is a little dark in low light, but there is a backlight button. Would like to see a better option for doing Crossfit. I use the HR function. I bought the unit without the HR strap and purchased the Garmin premium strap online separately. Garmin connect is the app the syncs and it is good.
