Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the vívofit Fitness Band + Heart Rate's accurate heart rate monitor, ease of use, and long battery life. Many appreciate the step and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its water resistance. However, some users wish it had a backlight and find the app less intuitive than others. The device's size was also noted as somewhat bulky by a few customers.

I was so happy to here it contained it had a heart monitor as I have had three heart surgeries and am scheduled for a cardio version. In two weeks to correct a fib. Never read it was a batman belt you had to put around you that hurts your sternum . The heart monitor was not accurate neither were most of the other features . The software was atrocious. Would not sync with iPad iPhone nor iPod . Constantly lost sync with ,my pc destop and laptop. I'm a big fan of Garmin there gps are second to none and there support for them is awesome. With a little more research and refinements they will have the best out there in this genre . Tried Fitbit, also terrible. Software stinks and really no third party apps for either of these.so fit bit went back to. Tried messing with jawbone apps and that stop me from trying that one . Heard bad reviews on the nike band, I think there is great potential in this area but for now there all very for off . I do believe Garmin has the head start and I'm hoping to try there next for ray . I mean I wore a Holter monitor a few weeks ago it fit right in my pocket . Back in 88 I wore a Holter monitor and they were so big you had to hang ti around your neck. I'm anxiously waiting for a more polished product and please companies . You need severe 3rd party software help from distinguished developers!

    Inaccurate on treadmill

When holding the bars on a treadmill the steps and distance is not accurately recorded on vivofit. Treadmill recorded 1 mile and vivofit recorded .57. The vivofit also recorded the steps at 1400. On average I do 2000 steps per mile. The iPhone health app recorded my steps more accurately. The hearth rate monitor seems to be more accurate

We are sorry that this product didn't work out for you. Garmin Activity Trackers have sensors that are designed to detect natural movement in your arm performed while walking or running, so unfortunately, the vivofit is not going to accurately count your steps while you hold the bars on a treadmill.

Garmin Activity Trackers work very well at giving an overall snapshot of daily activity but there may be some instances, such as the one you described, in which the device may not function as intended.

I understand not including a manual but AT LEAST put one out there on the web. The 4 page manual that comes when you down load the USB TELLS you what the thing CAN do, but it doesn't tell you how to do it. I can put the time in 12 or 24 hour format, REALLY, and how do I do that??? Can somebody out there PLEASE give me a web sit I can use for this beast.
