Customers frequently mention the positive battery life, accurate heart rate tracking, and comfortable fit of the Vivosmart 3. Many appreciate its sleep and step tracking capabilities, along with its waterproof design. However, some users found the display difficult to read in bright sunlight or experienced issues with band durability and syncing. A few also noted the lack of built-in GPS as a drawback.

I’ve had this device for 6 weeks and it has worked as advertised. No complaints. Syncs easily and stay connected. Easy to use. Read the manual carefully to understand it’s full potential. If you can find it on sale it is a steal. Love the Garmin Connect app. The data helps me stay on track.

Bought this to replace wife's old garmin. Great price. Does it's job. Great battery life. If you want a simple tracker that also shows your text messages, this is the one to get.

Works great! Lots of functions.....really like the fact that unlike most other brands, you can swim etc without having to take it off which defeats the purpose of tracking exercise!

Very comfortable to wear and the vibration notification no longer makes a horrible noise like past models did. The parts are the battery only lasts a couple days and the double tap to turn on no longer works consistently.

Bought this watch. It's okay for active use and tracking your steps but if you're wanting to get your text messages or other notifications I'd go with a more detailed smartwatch.

This is a great bluetooth fitness tracker with heart rate sensor built in. It works as well as expected or better. My only concern with this device is that the provided wrist band can irritate your skin and tends to fall apart easily.

This is an amazing activity tracker. The best part about it, is that it can get wet and you don't have to take it off; Only to charge. Highly recommended.

Too Many False Steps

If you drive any length of time you will find that the steps add up to the hundreds or more daily. I am an truck driver and the step count feature is basically useless. but at least the heart rate monitor is accurate while driving.... I contacted product support suggesting a feature that would allow the step counting to be turned off while driving but all i got back was a generic reply copied from their support page saying The overall accuracy of your daily step trends and goals should not be significantly affected by the above scenarios.

Good watch with quite a few useful features. The step count for stairs accuracy needs improved. At first it count way too few steps as stairs and after an update went through now counts way too many steps as stairs.

Overall a good sleek wearable. I bought it to wear when I want to also wear one of my nice non smart analog watches while still tracking my fitness. My only complaint is the display is not real crisp, but I can live with it.

I bought this to monitor heart rate while cycling (and working out). It links via Bluetooth to my phone ok -- though the Garmin Connect display isn't great -- but not to my other Garmin device(s). It seems to do ok on step count, but does not track HR history, stair count is often low, and 'active minutes' just doesn't seem to recognize anything but running. The sleep monitor is interesting (esp. if one has trouble sleeping) but doesn't do a good job of differentiating 'awake but not moving' and 'light sleep.'

Fits well, but does not do a good job keeping up with my workouts at the gym. Seems to have problems picking up my heart rate without having to be adjusted.
