I wanted a slighty less expensive activity tracker that covered more than just the basic steps and such and this one seemed to do everything I wanted and more. After wearing it for several weeks I am not disappointed. It does what it says and seems to be pretty acurate.

I love the fit as well as the features. The battery lasts 7 days and I enjoy getting badges for beating my prior days activities. The app is free and I can easily track my progress from my phone. I would reccomend this item as a great alternative the higher priced brands

Got mainly to monitor sleep as I have other Garmin for bike etc. This does a pretty good job on sleep evaluation and steps. Calories seem to be off and read low for my activity of biking. Only issue is that It is sometimes a bit hard to get it to come on Have to shake wrist. But for the money it works well so far

Not perfect...not terrible. Good app. Descent integration with MyFitnessApp. Like all wrist based fitness tracker, heart rate and sleep data are only approximate. Good enough for a general idea of how you’re doing. Don’t expect truly accurate data from any wrist based tracker. Blood oxygen reading is total garbage. Screen interface is okay. It’s too sensitive when your trying to maneuver through the menus. To wake it up you gotta tap hard.

My wife and I have been using the wrist activity trackers for many years now. We were with another company, better known perhaps, but got tired of seemingly constant issues with software or hardware. Not so with this Garmin Vivosmart4. Wonderful. All it does is work as advertised. Yeah, not as fancy looking maybe, but we favor function over appearance anyway. We needed help with a setting initially, we got right trough to an agent who uses the products and lives in California. Yes, we both have one. So, stop having "Fits" ;-) with other devices, and get yourself one of these. You'll be glad you did.

Amazing battery life, easy to use, and includes a boatload of features and sensors for such a small device. Very informative app and compatibility with Apple Health. Hands down better than competing products.

I wear it every day including water aerobics class 5 days a week. Charges faster than my previous Garmin Vivosmart HR which lasted for years I have never considered another brand as the Garmin products have been so durable. I was not looking for a Smartwatch for texting etc. I was looking for a watch and activity tracker. I did not need GPS as at 75 I mainly do my exercise in the water.

This has a lot of features, and some I don't care about or even want, but I wish the display were more than the time, weather, temperature and battery life. I don't need the weather; I'd rather have steps (or another activity measurement of choice). Specifically did not want a Fitbit since my last one band's broke.

I upgraded to this From my last Garmin, wish that I hadn;t waited. Works so much better. I like the sleep and heart rate features the best. I have already recommended this to several friends, one of them has already purchased.

The device does exactly as advertised. Coupled with the Garmin Connect app and website, there is a significant amount of data and trending you can do to help monitor your progress. The only thing I haven't quite figured out is getting it to display during the sleep period/do not disturb - seems like the double tap is not as responsive as it should be.

I had the vivosport but the band broke. Got this one to replace it. A whole week without charging back up is compelling. Heart rate monitor is a must and as far as I can tell is accurate. Great buy.

The wife and I had the same vivosmart hr but she felt the device too large. I showed the viviosmart 4 to her and she liked it. I have had the fitbit but just didnt like the device as much as the garmin.

I love my Garmin Vivosmart4. It is so much better than the fitbit I used to own. The only thing I would change is that the fitbit allows you to personalize your options more than the Garmin. You will also want to pay attention to the strap size. I was given a S/M and luckily it fit. I would definitely recommend the Garmin device.
