If you want to casually look at it as a watch you can't, you have to tap it twice first. I get buzzed throughout the day telling me that my blue connection is good or is lost. The sleep cycle isn't as wonderful as I had hoped. I'm getting buzzed in the middle of the night. It is a good reminder to keep moving throughout the day, but I find that even if I'm up and about cooking lunch it will tell me to move when I already am. A bit of a disappointment. . .

Posted .Thank you for your feedback! I’m sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the vívosmart. In addition to waking the watch by double-tapping the screen, the vívosmart’s Auto-On Display feature allows the device to turn on the screen automatically when you rotate your wrist toward your body. You can customize your device to use this feature at any time.
In regard to the watch buzzing throughout the day, the vívosmart should vibrate after one hour of inactivity passes. There are alert settings within the watch allows you to enable or disable the vibration alerts should you want to. As far as the watch vibrating in the middle of the night, the sleep mode setting disables the vibration features while you sleep while still monitoring your sleep statistics. Not worth the money

Was still under warranty so shipped it back to Garmin and got a replacement. Had to pay for the shipping. Same thing happened to the replacement one. Going back to Fitbit.

I like that I can connect with my iPhone I don't know how to compare the program and accuracy . It tracks the steps but not so sure accurate , might need to do with loose/tightness of band I guess. Because even I was walking , it reminded me to "move"
