I work at a desk most of the day. The gentle "move" reminders are great for me. Also, reading short texts directly from my wrist without having to take out my phone is an added plus.

This product is exceptional!!! I love how it vibrates when you need to move or you are getting a phone call or text and you can also read who's calling or texting. Steps are pretty accurate which is definitely a good thing

I have an iPhone and have problems with the syncing. I decided to just returning it. reinstalling the app and restarting the Garmino tracker was to much. Specially when you have to do it so often. With me it was at least once a week the app or the tracker need to be restarted.

Way back when, I used a BodyBugg to track (no longer supported), then I moved on to Fitbit devices (kept falling out of pocket when I sat) which I used for a year or two, and I tried a fitbit wristband (flex?) but It kept falling off... I tried an up24 but the large size didn't fit comfortably... I've been using up until this point for 6-9 months a Samsung Gear Fit.. I was happy with the gear fit, but it didn't synch with a food database (or any other online database# so I couldn't match my calories burned to what I was taking in. Now I have the VivoSmart and : 1# It records my steps, converts them to a total daily calorie burn #which gear fit did not do, but fitbits did# 2# It Synchronizes to MyFitnessPal, which has a great food database #if not a ton of ads, which I guess keeps the service free# 3) It stays on my wrist and does not fall off #again, the fitbit devices were difficult in this department) 4) Like the gear fit, this gives me breaking news notifications #from apps), e-mail, text, and I've come to rely on the vibration for incoming calls so I don't miss them #especially if i'm in a noisy place). What I don't like: 1) It doesn't seem to give me a chart for activity throughout the day like fitbit did, but that was kind of just something pretty to look at and not necessarily useful. 2) Maybe it's just a coincidence, but the first day I owned the device the web service which supports the device was down completely for at least 6 hours. Also The service is still reporting issues with myfitnesspal, though it seems to be working with current data for me.

Returned first one for another. Tried to get help from garmin And it took a week to talk with a person. Some of the worst customer service I've had. My Motorola phone which is only 6 months old, never would connect and finally I returned the product to Best Buy.

Love that this is a activity tracker and smart watch combined. Accurate readings, good screen visibility and easy to set up

Great product for a while, but eventually the screen stated to float up not allowing me to see the top of the words. Went through 2 in less than 2 years and gave up after the second one coasted up

I love this product it works really well and helps me keep track of my daily movements. Would definetly recommend this to anyone. I also love the smart notifications and the alarm feature.

Our whole family has these. It encourages everyone to be more active by seeing who takes the most steps everyday. Being able to read emails is a nice benefit as well.

I have used this device to track my personal fitness, and I have lost 1/10th of my body weight in four months! I am happy with this product, and you will be, too!

Screen is blurry, touch portion almost unusable, and notifications would not come through right away. It could be up to 5 mins between the notification appearing on my phone and it showing up on the this device.

Better than a Fitbit, not as good as the microsoft band. I returned this for the band. It is a much better product for about the same price.

The setup was very easy to do. There are no controls on the outside of the tracker and no way to make the display brighter on it so that was a little disappointment.

The band is a great product you forget it is there and it does so much but the battery life is pretty weak if you recieve alot of messages.

I think that this is the best way to exercise. I and the kids all compete online to see who does the most. It is very motivating.

Product has been nothing but stellar. Works well with all fitness I would recommend this for anyone interred in buying a Fitbit .

Screen is going black after only four months. No matter how I change the setup does not calculate steps and or running properly.

Nothing can be said about this, it just works. Wife wanted something to track her at the gym and this works great without being massive.

I returned this product within a week because I found the viewing angle very awkward and it is very difficult to view what's on the screen while outdoors.

I purchased this replacement since my Garmin died reopen a year. If you purchase this product, be sure to purchase extended warranty because you will need it.
