I bought this activity tracker after doing a little online research. I was thinking about buying the Fitbit HR but I read that was meant for the serious exerciser that wants more information than I do. I love that it reminds me to "move" every so often. I work at a desk on a computer and needed a reminder to move every now and then. I am not sure how accurate the step counting is but it is close enough for me. I must say that if you wear it in the shower, it counts steps when you shampoo your hair so you might want to take it off then. The battery life is awesome. I went 9 days before charging it and it still did not run out completely. If I had to pick something it does that annoys me, sometimes when I am scrolling through the various settings, it often starts up the music on my phone. If you are a beginner/intermediate exerciser, I recommend this model.

I had bought 3 of them, one for myself and two as gifts. They started out awesome but thankful I got the geek squad cause one of them the screen went out and that was still under the return policy. No problems after that. I love how discreet it is and doesn't attract attention. Battery life is good too.

I was looking for a band that was easy to use, and water proof. This one works for me. Only need to take it off once a week for a charge. Good readout of the screen.

I got this product after doing extensive research online and seeing multiple reports that it would work with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone even though it wasn't on the official list of tried and tested and confirmed to work with the product list. I tried it out for over a week and had multiple issues with the Bluetooth connection and with it freezing up on a screen to where you couldn't swipe to the new screen to see step counts etc. I also wasn't impressed by the means for charging the device as you have to use a bulky charger that has to be clamped on specifically to align with the pins on the bottom of the device for it to go into charge mode. All in all I'd say it's probably a great product as long as your device is on their list of devices known to work work with it, otherwise I think it'll be a hit or miss type of deal for all other devices.

This is my second activity tracker. The first one was cheap and didn't work well at all. This one is water proof, I have been swimming, water park, ect and it still works great. The app is good too. But the extra activity part of the app could use a little more options, we all aren't training for marathons and such. overall I think it is really good. Using it with the My Fitness Pal app I have found motivation finally to get more healthy and loss the weight. I would have liked to have the heart rate monitor but I didn't feel it was worth the extra $100.

Pleased with the convenience of notifications and the ability to track sleep. Does erroneously track steps while driving, but most do. Otherwise I'm content with the purchase.

I am on my second vivosmart. I went swimming with the first one just because I could and after a couple of hours in the pool the screen quit working. Luckily, I only had it a couple of days and was able to exchange it. Other than the screen issue with the first one, I have not had any problems with it. I like the notifications and sleep tracking the most. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Best tracker I've had so far. I've had the fitbit zip, the jawbone and samsung gear fit. The battery is excellent and it does everything the Samsung gear fit does but it's slim and not so bulky. The app is easy to use the only down fall compared to other apps is it doesn't have a meal tracker directly in it.

On top of tracking all of the stuff you normally want a fitness tracker to track, on top of it being waterproof, which is a must for an outdoorsy type like me, receiving the notifications from my phone helps me stay attentive to texts (which you can read on the device), calendar events, and phone calls. I've had no trouble maintaining battery life for about a week or so with active use. I would definitely recommend this tracker.

This is easy to use, looks nice, and is comfortable. I'm using it with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. At first it had some issues with the Bluetooth, but Garmin put out a fix soon after I had noticed the problem. I really think that at this price level and function level, this is the best. Not complicated, great form and function. Overall, it does what it says it'll do! Also, I love the changing goals. Keeps me on my toes!

Setup was easy, charging was fast. Fits well and is comfortable to wear round the clock. The steps seem accurate, I like that it gives a new goal to hit. The "MOVE" reminders are nice, I sit at a desk all day, this prompts me to take a break every hour and move around! The sleep feature is also nice. I am not sure how I feel about the messages part... but that can be turned off so it's definitely not a negative.

I loved this fitness tracker! It was great concept, with the screen being hidden. Truly waterproof and mostly accurate. However, it did lack longevity, as in, the screen didn't last as long as it should! Any small bump could distort display and after a little while things began being hard to read on display. Had to Send back and have replace twice. Garmin handled the replacement process. This was my wife's and she upgraded straight to Apple watch.

This is a great product and I love it I wanted to get back into the gym so I bought this so that I can track how many steps I walk everyday on top of going to the gym and I'm only averaged between 5 to 6000 steps a day not even knowing that. I am glad that I bought this product it is also good 4 knowing how many calories you burn and if u are out of range of your phone it vibrates on your wrist when you are out of its Bluetooth range and it also vibrates when you receive phone calls it is waterproof and very helpful especially when you are a active person.

Its great that I can change the music, and read my texts. The only downfall to it is the battery doesn't usually last 7 days but more like 4-5 days.

I bought this one after seeing my wife use hers. I am very pleased with the way the band works. I had a Jawbone previous to this one and I like this one better. It interfaces with my email and phone and notifies me when I have been sitting to long and need to move. Very happy with the band!

Not A Bad Device, Just Not the Right One For Me

The Vivosmart mostly worked as advertised and I do not think there were any technical problems with my unit. However, it just wasn't the right device for me. The display, whether in vertical or landscape mode, always seemed awkward to read on my wrist. At times, Bluetooth connectivity was hit and miss and after awhile, the message & mail notifications became more bother than useful. Eventually, I returned the Vivosmart and I will try something else.

I had been using my phone for step counting and was glad to learn about Garmin vivo smart. I have been trying to be more active and this watch/bracelet helps with that amazingly. Detects when I have been sitting too long and vibrates to get me going. Also enjoy having emails, texts, phone calls prompted by the Vivosmart. Can check them without looking at phone.
