There are hundreds of fitness bands and this one takes the care for needs. I bought this for my wife and she is very happy with what it does and the features that it has to offer. It is a smart watch without the clutter and fancy show off, looks simple and works awesome. has a choice of colors and sizes to choose. Large ones almost fits all.handy features like notifications and reminders and the very unique, move bar and adapting dynamic steps goals, which helps you keep motivated and not discouraged when you do not meet your goal.

Love this, only have to charge once a week and it shows your phone notifications. Great for meetings or places you can't have your phone out.

Great product but the MOVE feature does not work well. I moved around for hours and the device still tells me I have not moved in at least two hours; yet, somehow I accumulated over 1,000 steps. The device is fairly accurate although it does miss steps for people who do not swing their arms while walking. While driving in my car for a couple hours I accumulated over 2,000 steps, I guess the bumps in the road counted as steps. More apps need to pull data from the device. Fortunately, the device works pretty good because the Garmin customer support is a joke; they do not listen or read what you write in your complaints about the product. Some people complained about the battery life, but mine lasts over two weeks. Just make sure you use the Bluetooth only when you need to sync the device. I sync just before I go to bed. If you force the device into sleep mode, remember to wake it up in the morning when you get up. The device does not recognize your walking movement as you being awake so you have to take it out of sleep mode manually. I use Wii Fit sometimes to change up my routine but there is no way for me to enter the calories burned manually. The Connect program should have a method to manually enter calories burned during an exercise, unless I just have not found it yet.

The big thing that sets this apart from most other similarly priced models is that it is waterproof. I wear it in the shower and the pool and it works flawlessly. The app is nice, too. Integrates well with my calorie counting app. Requires charging for about 5 hours once a week.

Fitness band does it all, as advertised. The app is weak, but has gotten somewhat better. The display is great except in bright sunlight. Much more accurate than I thought. The music controls ONLY the native music app (which is Itunes on iphone). The sizes overlap; the large is pretty big on me (5'11'' 160). Great water resistance.

I gifted this to a man that is not extremely tech savvy, the ease of use has been great for him. He likes to keep track of his steps and enjoys the receiving text to the device. I have one as well and truly love it. The move indicator works great when I'm in the office, love the reminder to get up and move around.

Did due diligence in researching wearable, activity trackers. This seems to fit the bill for me...have an iPhone and like the notifications without having to pull out my phone. So far, works as expected.

I bought this device because I could wear it in the pool, what I didn't realize at the time is how many other ways it would meet my needs. I get messages, through bluetooth on my iPhone, telling me about phone calls, emails, Facebook, news/sports updates and .....it tells me to "MOVE" when I've been sitting in a meeting or at my desk too long. I love it and am a very happy customer.

I really like the way it keeps tract of your steps and that you can look on the band and check your steps. It does let you know when you get a phone call or text but the print is very small

Garmin quality product. Durable, waterproof, full of features, 7 day charge capacity, adjustable size, etc.

Came from the vivofit which I liked due to its very care free approach (no constant recharging, waterproof, comfortable). I wanted something similar to that but with more features like a vibration when inactivity occurs. The vivofit was too passive. Only downside is charging once a week but I do it while Im at work sitting at my desk so it doesnt affect my numbers. Also enjoy the notification with my Note 3 and the overall more low profile design.

I like the band however it's hit/miss how often it sync's and syncing correctly. It's lacking multiple alarms, and the touch screen is flaky I do like it better than the Up24 I previously had

Great while swimming or in the gym, great battery life and excellent when you pair with the scale. Just wish it had a built in HR monitor.

I love the Vivosmart Activity tracker. It has great battery life that tends to last up to 7 days. Not only am I able to see my steps but also am able to receive notifications such as incoming calls, emails, and text messages in addition to other ones. In reference to comfort it is amazing. I sometimes forget that I'm wearing it until it vibrates to let me know that I need to move. I would definitely recommend this tracker.

The good: works great in the water (counts my water aerobics 'running'), and I am a fan of the "Move!" feature. The not so good: was expecting better for sleep monitoring data (does not show me 'deep sleep' patterns like the Jawbone does), and captures about 1/3 of steps done on an elliptical machine. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the Garmin VivoSmart itself. The Garmin Connect website could be better in my opinion. Sometimes it is stubborn to sync when using USB on computer. That is my main gripe with it.

Great battery life. I charge it once in 9-10 days. Decent accuracy in step counts. Great way to keep track of your messages from your smart phone especially during driving .

I wanted a tracker that is waterproof for pool workouts. This works well for most activities. I love that it can sync with a heart rate strap as well as a bike tracker.

Love my vivosmart except in the beginning I had to keep repairing with my smart phone for about a week before it stayed paired.

Like that I am able to receive text and notification on my wrist. Use it to track steps but sometimes it loses connectivity with my Samsung Galaxy 6 edge phone
