I'm right handed...wear a watch on my left hand and the Garmin on my right. It does it's job of tracking steps, activity levels and heart rate (mostly what I got it for). I wear it continually even when showering and haven't had any problems with water. My MAIN complaint is the display...being that it is definitely small it is not usually bright enough in a lot of various lighting situations. Drives me nuts when I can't read it out on the mountain bike trail. I'm waiting on the Apple iWatch 3 when it is hopefully coming out later this year.

I bought the Garmin Vivosmart HR+ since it is water resistant and my swimming and kayaking activities are "all wet". The gps function is to help measure distances in the kayak. I also work out at my local gym so knowing my heartbeat rate is an important metric, and the other functions will likely be used once I figure them out. All in all it exceeds my expectations and provides excellent data.

Hands down the best fitness watch I had, and I've had a few of the top brands. My favorite feature is that it's waterproof. I can shower, swim or run in the rain. There are too many great features to list, all I can say is, you won't regret this purchase!

Coming from Fitbit I find this Vivosmart more confusing. The display is not bright enough. The battery lasts almost a week

I loved the Garmin. It was accurate and had excellent features. Unfortunately, I had to return it as it gave me a terrible rash on my wrist.

I thankfully was able to order one with a longer band.

This is an excellent fitness tractor, geared towards the walker and the runner. Not as easy to operate as the Fitbit products but once you get the hang of using it, this is an excellent product. Water Resistant and a built in GPS (not associative like some trackers) make this a must buy for the serious runner.

I don't find the "sleep" tracker to be useful, it only seems to track your heart rate. I have not figured out how to tracks steps, or exercise at the gym. It will track treadmill- but that's about it. Sadly, I expected more.

This watch has been very helpful in tracking my steps, stairs, and heart rate, but it does not have a good method of tracking calories while someone is lifting weights.

I really liked the fitness tracker but the larger size band is hardly ever in stock. I eventually returned this one and went with an Apple Watch but it is a great device and I did use it and it’s predecessor daily.

This was a replacement for a competitors product which had failed as the entire band separated from the head of the unit. I purchased this product because I liked the fact that the item is water proof. My wife had also switched over to Garmin for similar reasons. So far so good.

Love that it's waterproof to 50 meters, so no need to remove to go in the pool or shower.

This fitness tracker works just like it is supposed to. It keeps me motivated. I also love hoe it keeps me connected to everything else.

I like how I can tell it what I want to have visible. It is better and more accurate for me than any of the Fitbit products.

This tracker is much better than the basic HR I had previously. It syncs up every time or the Geek Squad helped make this happen (I didn't use them on my first tracker).

Compared Garmin with several competitor models and liked the Garmin best based on features offered and price.

The device itself was great - tracked everything you could possibly need - interface with phone easy to set up and easy to navigate. Problem - could not READ it - so much info crammed on display and insufficient backlight even turned all the way up. Had to return it.

He has not taken it off since he got it at christmas. Except maybe to charge. Best buy was very good about shipping it. I came early.
