This device works great. Love not having to look at my phone for every notification. The only thing I don't like is that the heart rate is hit and miss.

I've tried many fitness bands and a few heart rate straps. While I prefer the straps, I hate having to wear them just for an accurate reading, especially when I want an all day reading. After trying out a few different bands, this one is my preference for the HR in the wristband. I will admit the vibrate reminders to get up are a nuisance at first, but I actually ended up looking forward to them as a good excuse to get up from my desk! I'm definitely buying one for my mother.

I had purchased for myself but decided to give to grandson, age, 15! He is very impressed with all the features esp. How well he slept! He tracks his steps & being very athletic, its a great gift for him! I received the FitBit HR for Xmas, but wish I had the Garmin!

It was a gift for Christmas from my husband. It was recommended by a friend of ours who is a personal trainer. Works well and great phone app to track

Love my fitbit because it is waterproof. It is great tracking my steps,heartbeat and vibrant if I get message on my phone so I don't miss any messages.

I enjoy the fact that it has an easy read screen and you can down load it daily or every few days. You can even connect with others to meet chalenges

This is a great watch that tells me everything I need to know. I love that I beat my daily goals and it vibrates. I also love that it syncs with my phone so when someone is calling or texting I can look at my wrist to see who it is before reaching for my phone.

Was in the market for fit bit, I thought. Garmin does so much more with heart rate, weather, and sleep measurements. Plus it is water resistant. Huge plus!

Knowing your stats helps you stay on track. This device is great for that.

There seems to be a few bugs that need to be worked out in the software. They have released an updated in the time I have owned it which did take care of a few of the issues. I wish they would have an always on heart rate mode even if it meant charging the watch more often. I also do not find it to be very comfortable but this is more an issue of my wrists shape.

I did a lot of research on fitness watches and this one offered the most options for its price. So I bought it the day it came out and wore everyday for six months. The notifications, the customization, the scything to your smartphone, all great. Then I moved took it off bc I needed to charge it and never saw it again. It's been two months and I can't take it anymore, I'm buying a new one! Don't waste your time with the other brands this watch is for everyone!

I loved the features and functionality of this little device and since I had researched several trackers before deciding on this one, I was disappointed when I found it uncomfortable to wear. The heart rate monitor stuck out too far on the back and made my wrist hurt. I could have worn it looser, but it said to wear it snug enough that it wouldn't move, and that caused it to dig a bit. Also the band colors are so dark that my purple one looked black.

I had the vivo fit before and liked it but I LOVE this product! Does so much more and works really well. Definitely would recommend. It's not a smart watch so if you want more of the smart watch go with the other but if looking to track stuff this is the one

It does everything it's supposed to do but the wrist band is causing my wrist to break out with a rash.

My daughter and I bought matching Garmin watches to help us enhance our daily routine for health. It records our stops, our pulse and several other items. We are both so happy with this usable gear.... and would recommend it to anyone who is concerned about health. Terrific. The Geek Squad helped us to set it up and educated us on how to use it.

I use to run and bicycle and Vivosmart count very precisely time, HR and steps. I not a professional, so it comply my expectations. Something really great is be able to control music, read messages and knw who is calling at the phone.

Great Fitness Tracker from Garmin. The optical heart rate Tracker is a nice addition to this class of fitness tracker. As a former Garmin VivoSmart (Non-HR) owner, The only complaint I have compared to the original VivoSmart is the thickness of the device.

Went through three Fitbits. Scratched and not waterproof. The Garmin has no scratches and Is waterproof. The Battery also lasts longer. Love it!!!

Love the device. Accurate tracking, nice watch design and feel. Would buy it again! When stacking it up against fitbit, it wins! Better clasp on the watch, sleeker design, waterproof, just as accurate tracking steps, calories and heart rate. The only thing missing is a single app for activity and food tracking like fitbit. But, you can't hold that against the device, it's a vendor issue because Garmin teamed up with MyFitnessPal/Under Armour. Seems like they could link over to make it more seamless while still crediting the other company (Under Armour) for user convenience.
