It works very well, the heart rate is spot on, and the feature to Automatically track your excercise is pretty nifty.

Bought this for my husband to step up his workouts. Read lots of reviews and Garmin was clearly the way to go. Great for tracking heart rate and great app and metrics. Some features are hard to learn, but expect that to get easier over time.

After almost two months of use, I am pretty happy with the device. Step counting seems to be very accurate. Counting of flights of stairs is sometimes erratic, but I didn't get this for that so I don't really care. Heart rate seems to be pretty accurate when I have checked it against a manual check of my pulse. It loses one of its stars due to the clunky app that it syncs with (to my iPhone). There are way too many hidden menus and menus within menus... It can be difficult to find the information that I want to look at. I suppose that once I am more familiar with navigating in it it will become easier... But this isn't rocket science ant there doesn't need to be such a learning curve. All available data should be summarized on one screen, and then I should be able to click on what I am interested in to dig into that area more deeply.

I previously had the original Vivofit, so I was already familiar with the Garmin product line. I picked this up on black Friday because the price was great for the heart monitor version. I have to say, though, that after using it for some time now I don't feel it is as accurate as my old one. It does not record my floors (their name for flights of stairs) consistently at all. Sometimes I will do five flights and it records none and other times it says I've done five when I've done one or two. My husband has noticed the same thing with his, so maybe it's the sensor detection and not just a faulty unit. This isn't a deal breaker for me because I upgraded for the heart rate function, but it is frustrating to know that one of my measurements is consistently inconsistent.

I stayed away from Fitbit products because of all the bad reviews regarding them falling off wrists for no reason. Turns out my own aunt had it happen to her. This Garmin has a great HR tracker and the phone app is extremely detailed. Battery life is above average and overall I'm happy with my purchase!

The Garmin heart tracker is a great item. it tracks activity well, even stairs, and I enjoy having the BPM feature to help me control my heart rate during activities or even during times of stress. I have found myself more active and trying to get more sleep as a result of using this product.

I reviewed several activity trackers before I purchased this one. The main factors were water proof in pool, battery life, false steps and price. This is the 3rd Garmin I have purchased for a family member. Now all three of us can compare our results. I love it!!!

I like it better than my wife's Fitbit Alta, and the Garmin app installed and mated flawlessly, while the Alta initially had compatibility issues with her Moto Z Droid. The HR is light, the charge lasts a week, recharge is fast, and it is easy to read.

This is my first fitness tracker. It was easy to set up. Less than 5 minutes. Integrated with my iPhone 7 easily. Works great at tracking sleep and activities. i'm not used to wearing a watch, however this tracker has not been bothersome.

Bought the x-large due to my wrist size and it is perfect fit with great adjustment flexibility. Other fitness watches have just barely fit. Compatibility with Samsung Note 5 is good and Bluetooth range is better than other watches I've owned. I like the constant heart rate monitoring, calories burned and "always visible" time feature. Additional features for actual sleep monitoring would be nice but overall very pleased with purchase. 5 stars reserved for a perfect products only.
