Customers are delighted by the vívoactive 4 GPS Smartwatch's long battery life, which lasts up to 4 days, and its durability, which is more robust than an Apple Watch. They also appreciate the activity tracking feature and the onboard music storage. While some users wish it was smaller in size, overall, customers are pleased with the watch's screen, GPS tracking, and ease of use.

Absolutely love this watch!! Very light weight and comfortable to wear even while sleeping….plenty of features and health monitoring/activity tracking options and features. Although I didn’t try it yet but the option to download songs to watch itself sounds great…and battery is great too, it went from 100 to 40% in 4 days….would recommend it highly!
Only con I see is that to add apps or to download watch faces, it needs another app, at least on iOS, not sure about Android though…but not a big deal for me.

Originally tried a Fitbit Charge 5 and quickly exchanged it for this Garmin vivoactive 4. Really like this watch a lot. Works seamlessly right out of the box. Easy to register and sync with the app. Operation is intuitive for me. I can readily find what I need or activity to start or program it to start automatically. I can find metrics quickly to check in with my health status or "body battery". Metrics appear fairly accurate when compared to my other Garmin Forerunner 235. The app is informative and supplies the data I'm looking for. The watch looks conservative and is comfortable to wear including at night which was an issue for me with the Fitbit. This is a really nice mid range watch that satisfies my needs.

Thai is a great fitness watch. I have if 4 stars because the screen could be brighter and when u increase the brightness controls it drains the battery faster than expected. It will last about 3 days while raising the brightness

I purchased to try something different from the normal Fossil smart watches I have purchased in the past. The interface seems very simple and the battery life has been excellent. The gps is very accurate and it is nice not having to take a phone with me on a run, jus the watch and some Bluetooth headphones. Very glad I made this purcahse while it was on sale.

I really like the look and feel of the watch and activity tracking options. Improvements can be made to the backlit screen to make it more digitally pronounced. Also, it takes a couple minutes to get the GPS signal for tracking outdoor runs. My other cheaper Garmin watch was much faster in this aspect. Overall I would rate it as a good purchase for the price considering the available features.

I bought this device based on reviews I'd seen on YouTube. My hope was that this watch was going to be my 24-hour fitness tracker. My main exercises consist of hiking, swimming, and weight lifting at the gym. After a month with it on, I can say that this watch has an amazing GPS tracker. I use it to track how long and far I hike all the time and it really does help motivate me to continue to exercise the next day. I also enjoy seeing the breakdown of my sleep and how many calories I burn actively and passively in the day. Sadly, the same consistency with performance cannot be said with its swim tracker. It simply does not accurately keep track of how many laps I put in and I end up having to just keep count in my head. The watch is waterproof but it's still kind of a bummer that one of its "supposed competitive advantages" over the acclaimed apple smartwatch is that it had a better swimming function....and that turned out to be a dud. Overall, if you want a watch that just works to keep track of everything except for swimming laps and you don't mind charging it every 2 days, then this watch is for you.

I love this watch. It holds it charge for a week. I use it while walking, it keeps good detail on my heart rate and distance. I sleep with it amd the statistics are well done and easy to read. I have had many fitbits they break to easily. I had 2 samsung watches. They don't hold a charge at all and they both broke.

I purchased this Garmin VivoActive 4 to replace my Garmin Instinct and I’m glad I did. It has proven itself time and time again. Easy of use and provides all the data I would ever want. My favorite feature is the ability to download new watch faces from Garmin IQ.

I have owned 2 previous Garmin watches. I love that it tracks all of my physical activities. It monitors my sleep and heart rate. They are very important to me. I hike a lot and knowing how my heart is doing in real-time and the miles hiked are important. I have sleep apnea so sleep monitoring.

This has been a great device! I moved from FitBit to this device and love the watch. The look and feel is great, but most of all the accuracy and features from Garmin are great as well. The best thing so far is the battery life itself, lasts so much longer than FitBit.

Have used for about two months now. Replaced charge2 and I wear everyday. I found it easy to learn and it offers so much more than the Fitbit. It also works seamlessly with my Strava. The built in gps is fast and accurate, as are the step counters and heart rate. The face is durable and still no scratches even though I’ve banged it pretty good a couple of times. High quality. I use mostly to track road and mountain biking. Worth the extra cost vs cheaper fitness trackers. It’s like professional grade instrument compared to other toys.

Vivoactive 4 hits the sweet spot

My third Garmin watch. This brand is reliable and the battery lasts and lasts. I tried the small one and didn't find that it was enough information. Switched to the VivoActive 3, but then when this 4 was released, I traded up. The 4 hits the sweet spot with instructions for exercises. I love the breathing exercises as a quick break during a stressful day.

I come from a Fitbit ionic - it gave up after about 2.5 years of use after Fitbit's update failed to install properly. And since it was out of warranty, I decided to get something new.
I was looking for something with good battery life (even with always on display), reliable fitness tracking and some smartwatch capabilities. I considered the Fitbit sense, but its 2-3 days battery life just did not cut it (with always on display and overnight SpO2 tracking). So after a good amount of research, I ended up with the Garmin VA4. I am super happy so far that I moved to Garmin from Fitbit. I get about 5 days of battery life with always on display and a custom, stats heavy watch face (with white background)
