I bought this watch because I use other Garmin devices, and knew I wanted compatibility. It is redundant to the computer I use on the bicycle, but having tracked a ride on both, it is as accurate, capturing all relevant data. Its widgets are ok, but I would like to track a fitness exercise while still being able to use the music controls for example. Regardless, it is comfortable, light, works well in sunlight, stands up to long hours (it only needs charging every few weeks) and looks pretty good for the price. I'm looking forward to using it more in the spring/summer months for hiking, etc.

Bought this for my wife and it is amazing. Wish I would have bought myself one as well. She uses it in the pool with no problems and it acquires satellites quickly on our runs. Next one is for me. Highly recommend.

Watch for son who never liked watches. Wears all the time and likes that can see text messages and the golf course app. Would be nice if could respond to texts, but knew that it didn't have that functionality

I really like the sleep tracking, and daily steps tracking. The "move" bar is also a great reminder to get moving. Overall a great product. Perhaps the most useful function is the vibration when my phone rings and the display showing who is calling. I have missed far fewer calls with this watch on. The only negative I have about this product is the inability to show heart rate real time in a big display. The only way I have been able to display heart rate is to start an activity, and then the display is so small that it is distracting while exercising and trying to take a peak.

We got this for my girlfriend who wanted to track steps and be able to sync her GPS tracks to her MapMyWalk app on her Galaxy Note 4. It does everything she wanted, with very accurate step counter and easily transfers the data to her smartphone and apps. One of the best things about it is the great battery life. She wears it every day and goes more than a week before charging it. She is very happy with this item.

It is a good start as a watch/ activity tracker that integrates ok with phone. I like the size and usability. Software improvements and improved apps can make this an even a better device.

I had a fitbit before this and it just doesn't compare. I love all of the things it can do. It tracks everything I want it to. My two favorite apps that it has are the find my phone and find my car. I misplace my phone a lot, especially at night, and the find my phone app really makes it easy. Then the find my car app is just awesome. Just set the location before you leave your car and when your ready to go back it takes you right to it. With all the great apps and the fact that it is waterproof just makes this a great app. The only problem that I have run into is that the weather widget sometimes freezes but that is solved pretty easily by turning the watch off and on again.

This is a good watch for my wife who is a nurse. She does not want to much on her watch but it has big numbers and also counts her steps since she is on her feet all the time.

This watch does everything as advertised but will occasionally flake out. Garmin could do a better job documenting how to use all the features it has been a lot of trial and error.

I've had two different Forerunner watches from Garmin and I've used a couple of different brands of fitness trackers. The problem was that I was always switching between them. This watch takes care of that. I wear this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It usually gets charged once or twice a week for an hour or so. That’s all it takes. Tracks my steps, my sleep and my bike rides and runs. I didn’t really think I’d care about the text messages from my phone showing on my wrist but that has proved much more handy than I thought it would be. I was a little concerned at first that it would not be durable enough but those concerns fell by the wayside long ago.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a smartwatch/activity tracker. This Garmin made the cut mostly because of the waterproof and swimming feature. Being able to keep it on in the water and track my swimming is such an awesome feature for me since I swim almost daily. I love the look, lightweight feel and the activity tracking options. The one con I do have is that it does not track flights climbed.

I chose the Garmin smart watch because of the waterproof and golf features. It has been excellent for both and much more. I wish Garmin would develop a more feminine model, but otherwise it is perfect.

This watch helps you with anything fitness or golf related. Being abe to log steps without GPS is a great feature. Really helps keep you accountable with fitness and your food because of the myfitnesspal link.

This was bought for my wife and it's a great alternative to more expensive smart watches. She has it synced with her iPhone 6 plus and wears it daily. You can get interchangeable bands online for around $20.

Love the widgets and gps tracking . You can do a lot of asigned activities and even name them what you want. It's got golf maps . But it's not a stylish watch. Super light. Pro: Waterproof ,gps tracking of what even activity or you can disable gps and save battery life. You can also control you lights with the right wireless devices(control m app ) Battery lasts a week Cons: While driving you'll gain steps or showering. Garmin connect is spotty

Father's Day gift as he is a runner. This was a watch he had been looking at for months, watching others' reviews, talking with others and decided this was the best fit for him. He has been very happy with this watch for weeks now. Does exactly what he thought.

I've had this device for over a month and I like everything about it. I bought a foot pod sensor to keep track of my indoor runs and it detects it without needing to do anything. The app works great as well and is perfect fur runs, walks, and swims.
