Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

I've tried the Misfit, Misfit Shine, Striv, and Vivofit, devices that either didn't last, battery required charging constantly, or had syncing issues before I purchased this device. The Vivofit 2 is comfortable, and has a locking wristband that eliminates accidental loss. The display portion illuminates so you can view the time and details of your activity. It syncs easily, but does have occasional issues with disconnecting. I wish this device would do call and text notifications, which is now available on the newer device, but I still love it!

Easy to use. Comfortable to wear. An entry level device for people who are getting started with the activities band. Slightly bulky for those with small wrist. Price with sale is just right.

Best fitness tracker I've had so far , like the fact that I don't have to be charging my tracker every night. Very accurate product cheaper than other products too , got it for $99.00.

Favorite feature of the Vivofit 2 - it is waterproof. Wear it all day at the waterpark without any issues. The Garmin Connect app pairs well with the My Fitness Pal app to help keep me motivated to move more and eat better. The weight is starting to come off. : )

Everyone seems so hooked on Fitbit, the garmin does all that the Fitbit does but with the Garmin, there is no recharging the battery every 3-5 days. It also displays whatever you want including the time constantly without having to push a button.

I research a lot before buying the Garmin Vivofit2 and I am so happy. The most important reason is that I don't to recharge the battery like many others and it is waterproof meaning I can to swimming or take a shower with it.

I couldn't be happier. My Garmin tells me everything I need to know, sets goals for me, challenges me, reminds me to get up and move and has even put me in a group of people at my level to "compete" with. I can track what I eat, how many calories I've burned, how many calories I've taken in and how well and long I've slept. It gives me the motivation I need to get where I want to be. I can even change the band to match my outfits! (Important to me.) Love this device and am very happy to let it rule my life.

Good improvements over the original Vivofit

The lighted dial is really nice. The lack of this on the original was a pain for trying to read your watch at night. The ability to have a reminder to move is great an missing from the original and was a benefit to the fitbit. Nice to see that they added this audible alarm to move. These are the main differences and why I like the new Vivofit 2 over the original. Still love the 1 year battery life!

The Vivofit 2 has the features I was looking for without a ton of extra ones that I didn't want. It tracks steps, calories, your sleep, keeps track of your goal, etc. It also has a stop watch type feature I haven't used yet. I do like the "move bar" or whatever it's called to remind you if you haven't moved in an hour too. It's very comfortable to wear and the band locks on so it wont fall off. It's also waterproof which is great. I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

Love my Garmin Vivofit2. Dont need to charge it regularly like other competitors. Battery last close to a year wth my old one wearing it every day. Never have to take this one off even when swimming or shower.

I had originally bought one of these as a gift for my wife. After seeing it in action doing all it can do I was really impressed and that's what brought me to get one for myself. It really shown a light on the fact that I have really bad sleep cycles and not enough time dedicated to such activity. I found that if I adjust my schedule to get a little more sleep the quality level goes up and I feel a lot better.

The Vivofit 2 improves on the original Vivofit with vibration and backlight. Still connects to the Garmin app and works flawlessly. It seems to be even more accurate tracking sleep . Love the new Garmin!

Received this as a gift. Sales person recommended this over Fitbit - mostly because of Garmin's use of a 1 year battery and his own satisfaction with his Garmin. I am happy with the unit. It syncs regularly with their app on my IPAD, and it is easy to manually make it sync. I cannot speak to a comparison with Fitbit, but am glad I don't have to charge the battery every 4 - 5 days, and don't have to worry about getting it wet. I would give it 5 stars if it had an option for a classier band. The band does have a twist-lock on it, though, and does have color options.
