I really like my Garmin. It helps hold me accountable and reminds me to get up and move. Since I have a desk job, I find myself having less eye strain, in addition to the other benefits of getting up from the computer more often. I've paired with My Fitness Pal, and like how that keeps track of calories consumed against calories burned. Makes me think twice about that late afternoon snack. I do wish that it had an illumination option as it would be awesome to be able to see time and info at night. I'll probably upgrade before too long, but this was a good way to get started in the fitness band world.

This product is really great for any fitness level. I also bought the HR monitor and I love working out with it to get a more accurate account of calories burned. The only thing is I wish the watch had a timer or alarm, otherwise really great! I use it everyday!

I use this to mainly keep track of my activity at work and for the heart rate monitor while I exercise. I seems to keep track well and the heart rate monitor works well too.

I have had mine since last December and love it. So I bought my son one for his birthday in October and he really likes it. It's more than I thought it would be and I pay attention to what I'm doing or not doing. The sleep part is great it lets you know different things about your sleep pattern.

Very helpful in reminding me to get up and move. I sit at a desk all day so this really helps make me aware of that. Love that it syncs with my phone and I can keep track of everything, even my sleep.

This wearable device has it all. Ease of use, intricate mobile app, gps, and heart monitor. All for under $120. Garmin has a great product!

I had a fitbit and I hated it. I have now bought 4 of the garmins for family members. Its so easy to use. I connected it to my fitness pal and it has been so helpful in my weight loss.

Curiously, this device from GARMIN does not have GPS tracking. That didn't deter me from trying it out. I've had the Vivofit for about two months now, and I like it. It keeps me motivated to get steps in. It's not too fancy, like the Jawbone (which will vibrate when you've been sitting for too long), but it comes with a chest strap to measure your heart rate. The strap itself is a bit uncomfortable (probably designed by a guy), but it's a nice option to have. Good for tracking running and walking. Garmin continuously updates the app - though I find it to be a bit slow to sync.

The fitness band is wonderful it helps me to keep up with all the steps I do in a day. Have no problem syncing every day on my laptop. Great way to monitor my light and deep sleeping habits.

Being the first generation fitness band from Garmin, the vivofit band has surpassed my expectations. While it would be nice if the heart rate monitor were built in, having a built in screen with date/time, steps taken, steps to goal, distance and calories burned all available at a glance makes me a happy customer. I'm also excited about the Bluetooth functionality for syncing with my phone and only having to replace the battery once a year instead of charging it every few days.

With the heart monitor, you can get a better snapshot of your wellness goals. It took a couple of days to get the rhythm of use down, but after that it was smooth operation. nightly sleep monitor gives a very clear picture for those who have any type of sleep disorder.

After checking out the other fitness trackers, I decided to go with the garmin. This tracks my steps and sleep.

I have tried 3 different activity trackers, and this one is by far the best one in my opinion. It is easy to use, easy to track your progress on the device without having to sync with a smart phone or computer to see your data. The one thing that I don't care for is that there are no options to change from a wrist band to other means of wearing like a belt clip or necklace. The rubber wrist band tends to bother my skin when wearing in hot weather or doing something that makes the arm/wrist area sweat.

This is an excellent fitness gear for the beginner. It's very affordable accurate HRM(heart rate monitor) easy to read. Very simple to use and sync with any smartphone device. Now the bad part. It lacks a few feature that is standard to average fitness gear. The OLED is hard to see during the night. It's very plain and the locking on the strap is easy to pop loose.

The Garmen Vivofit accurately records steps as well as heart rate. It is very easy to use and syncs with your smartphone. Not convinced with the accuracy of the sleep patterns.

This activity tracker is great. It monitors my sleep, heart rate, miles traveled, date & time.

I wear all the time, showering cleaning (without bleach). Garmin connect online has had some syncing issues and I wish/suggested it would allow export of sleep stats not just hours but overall pleased and it performs as I expected from my research of various products in this category. I have continued to watch other options but am still glad I went with this one for the ruggedness and long battery life.

This was a gift for my daughter in law for Christmas. She absolutely loved it and it has more capabilities than expected. Was a little confusing at first to set up but once set up it is very easy to follow ones progress.

Purchased the Garmin Vivofit for my wife for Christmas. Coupled with the Garmin Connect and MyFitnessPal app for Iphone, she really enjoys the features of this. It's beneficial to have the heartrate monitor, as it then allows you to track what zones you are in. She loves it. I bought one for myself a month later.
