Installers were very careful in handling our new slide in range. They made sure all the parts were there and inspected them for flaws. They used the in place oven tipping preventer which stuck out a little further than the one provided with the oven. It prevented the range from sliding back as far as possible. However there was already some restriction due to the way the gas line was originally installed. In any case it worked out as upon getting an additional piece of granite installed behind the unit it looks nice but just sticks out a little from the base cabinets.

Wouldn't buy a stove without Professional Gas Range Installation. They were fast and did a great job.

The installers arrived within the appointment window and did a good job of removing the old range. The installation went okay until they were not able to push the range all the way in like the old range. this was due to the existing gas extension and the distance it extended from the wall. On the back of the old range there was a cutout to accommodate this but not on the new range. I needed the range and agreed to leave it installed. I would have liked the installers to offer a solution rather than a shrug with no options in mind. If you do order the installation services from Best Buy, keep in mind that it is for a "basic" install and they may not be able to accommodate any "special" situation.

The installation went rather disappointingly. This was my first time buying a large appliance, and I won't buy my next ones from Best Buy. The good: Delivery guys were on time and removed old range/installed new range very quickly. They were careful about taking them up/down the stairs which I really appreciated. The not good: 1) Although I asked "did you guys level it?" before they left and they said "yes", it was definitely not level (half an inch off side to side!). We had to get another crew out to level it a week later. 2) They totally missed a part! This is pretty annoying - it's the rear trim piece that ensures no huge gap between the slide-in range and the back wall. I called an hour after they left when I was reading the installation instructions and realized it was missing. They said they never saw it. It's been a total pain to get this piece and it's almost a month later now. $3000 range and it's missing required parts. The installation crews don't care much about customer satisfaction and are independent folks contracted by Best Buy. I won't buy appliances here again.

Removal of the old gas range & installation of the new one was done perfectly. No issues. Technicians cleaned up afterwards & very courteous. These were the same installer who also installed my new dishwasher on the same day.
