Your microwave came standard with a one-year limited manufacturing warranty upon purchase. Because of this, you would not have had to pay the $99 trip charge if you schedule a service appointment through us. You can find more information about your warranty on page 15 of your owner's manual, which can be found on the product page for this microwave on our website. The last oven, same design and manufacturer, functioned well for 7 years.

If you're finding that you have to open and close the door several times before the unit will allow you to make choices or begin cooking, we'd recommend taking advantage of your warranty as seen on page 15 of your Use and Care manual.
