If I were to cook the frozen meal based on the time stated....I'd have smoky black charred food. I've lost a number of meals because of it. I'm not super happy with this microwave as a result.

I DID get an open box option (in 'excellent' condition), so I'm going to chalk my issue up to that. In the few days that it worked, the only complaint that I had was that it shows finger prints... bad. I get stainless steel is going to do that, but I almost wanted to return for how bad it looked after a few times of using it (my previous microwave and the replacement I got for this one don't have the same issue).

It is very difficult to make cooking selections without a flashlight. The search indicated that it was made in the US but the box said made in China.
